Personally, I'd skip the AWD and go RWD to save weight, drivetrain losses, and extra things to break.So far the catches I've found are:-people are very vocal about the drive by wire steering, but most cars don't have it and owners report the reviewers were largely overreacting.-heavy-ish at 3700 lbs RWD, knocking on 4000 lbs AWD-fuel economy could be better, but isn't terrible.-apparently easy-ish to steal compared to some cars, so need to be careful where you park as regularly parking in the same street spot might get it stolen (though the values may have fallen enough to make it no longer a target)-some complain about transmission valvetrain failures, but probably owners beating on it-some complain about turbos blowing, but probably from owners beating on it-you can get the 2014/2015 with the VQ37 and skip the turbos, but you also skip the tuning potential.-some people complain about the infotainment, but I just put a CD slot phone mount and do everything from my phone with bluetooth at the most, so I don't give a shit about ApPLe CaR PLaY or any of that iPad dash bullshit. -If you're a lil zoom zoom insurance will rape you, you need to be an adult with a clean driving record and a good credit score to not get bent over on insurance rates.Basically, for the price, I think my biggest gripe is the weight, I prefer more around the 3200 lb mark and there's a couple of fat guys worth of extra weight in this. It is literally the USDM variant of the current-day JDM Nissan Skyline, after all (it is branded a skyline in Japan, as the G37 and G35 were before it). Kind of a return to form, but perhaps not as legendary as the R32-R34 cars.

Turbos need to be replaced every 40k. Go look at what people are dealing with on their forums. You'll see tons of turbos going bad.
