If you enjoy cars, one car simply isn't enough. You need a nice four door practical car that's comfortable and preferrably electric. And then you also need a two door coupe with atleast a V6 and preferrably manual that's a blast to drive on the weekends. There is no single car that fits all sizes. You need two. How do anons cope with this?
>>29052583>preferably electricYeah nah fuck off
OP is absolutely correct, one car simply isn't enough. Then comes the issue that you don't have the timd for more than two cars realistically.
>>29052585Electric is the ultimate comfort driveline. The joy is limited in most models though.
>>29052583This is your brain after consumerism. And what would you say to the unpleasant fact that in communist countries (former Eastern Bloc) you had to wait up to 18 years for pathetic imitations of cars like the Trabant or Fiat 126p after placing your reservation, and after receiving them due to a lack of spare parts, they were kept alive in such makeshift ways that the typical Western consumer would have a nervous breakdown just thinking about it?For example:-V-belt: A broken belt was replaced with a strong string, or in an emergency, with a woman's pantyhose.-Fuel lines: A leaky or broken hose was briefly connected using a ballpoint pen and small cable ties.-Carburetor: When the car stalled due to dirt in the nozzle, it was blown out orally or temporarily with a wire from a brake cable. -Oil leaks: These were quickly sealed with high-temperature silicone or oil-soaked paper. -Alternator/Charging: Tapping the voltage regulator with a wrench could momentarily release the worn brushes.

>>29052592>And what would you say to the unpleasant fact that in communist countries (former Eastern Bloc) you had to wait up to 18 years for pathetic imitations of cars like the Trabant or Fiat 126p after placing your reservation, and after receiving them due to a lack of spare parts, they were kept alive in such makeshift ways that the typical Western consumer would have a nervous breakdown just thinking about it?Is this some kind of a flex? No one currently living in an ex-commie country misses those times
>>29052592I would say it sounds like you live in a nightmarish shithole and im happy I can just have whatever parts i need delivered to my house
>>29052583>How do anons cope with this?I have two cars. One is a longroof AWD and the other a V8 2dr coupe
>>29052668But I know Western eco-leftists who view motoring similarly to Gomułka.Władysław Gomułka had a very frugal and skeptical approach to private motoring. He believed that workers should travel by train and bus, and that a passenger car was an unnecessary luxury for the average citizen. According to reports, he believed that people should focus on work and production, not recreation or long-distance travel.Sounds strangely similar to those "modern leftists" who advocate clean transport zones. 15-minute cities, limiting the number of parking spaces, and similar leftist ideas.

>>29052714Stay strong. All that matters is living among your own people. That’s true wealth. The west has forgotten this but in Finland it’s still possible to an extent people in the us can’t comprehend.
>>29052583>a nice four door practical car that's comfortable and preferrably electricThis is what people who have never driven a nice car believe. Electric is soulless and boring. You've been tricked by "instant acceleration" which is useless. A smooth AWD luxury SUV like an older Lincoln is so much more comfortable
>>29052941>ghetto barge>nice
>Buying another car so that you aren't "forced" to drive the fun car.No, only if the other car is also a fun car or performs a utility to you that's worth buying another car for. What happens when you take your car out once or twice a month? You aren't used to it and will probably oversteer it off a cliff or understeer into an oncoming driver... You can claim that you're a driving god all day but it makes a difference. Or you'll just drive it to the grocery store like a grandpa with a redline run once or twice a year (the common outcome).
>>29052776No
>>29052583Wonderful baitHere's the ultimate enthusiast garage, cars only>Giant three row SUV, traditional automatic, V8What you put your wife and kids and all your stuff in for road trips and outdoor activities. If you really wanted, this is where an electric car fits in, since you can make the car drive your stupid bitch wife around, that way she wont hit another pole when she's getting your ingrate kids burger king>AWD sports sedan, manual or DCT, v8Your car for lightning storms and winter time >RWD manual convertible roadster, v8 or I4 depending on tasteYour daily for when you're just going to work or doing small run around errands>classic cartaste dependent, but for me it would be an air cooled bug
>>29052842pretty sure that ones a canuck
>>29053016Ok nice fairy tale. You also got a speedboat selling drugs undercover, Sonny?
>>29052583The only truth here is that yes, you need two cars, so you can take one to the auto parts store while the other is splayed out across the garage. Any specification further than that is just one's own preference.
