Miatas are dangerous, you have to pay motorcycle level attention in a Miata. Unlike a bike, you at least have *some* protection from shit like somebody side swiping you. But not much. And also keep in mind crash tests are adjusted for weight, so smaller cars get higher scores than reality reflects (most shit on the road is 2k lbs heavier than a Miata).

Installed the FM fuel pump relay to go with the DW200 pump. I am having an issue with the speakers in my 93 Miata LE, it is equipped with Mazda Sensory Sound System (MSSS1)It has an aftermarket Kenwood head unit, and a JL Audio 4 channel amp installed by the previous owner.Issue is as follows: In Radio, CD, and AUX mode the door speakers, and the seat bass transducer work. It’s hard to tell, but I think I can hear a light hiss out of the headrest speakers. In BT mode, only the door speakers are working. Nothing out of the headrest or transducer.I did some troubleshooting by unplugging channel 1 and 2 inputs, and plugging 3 & 4 into 1 & 2 and wise versa, and playing with all the switches on the amp in CD mode. Only the driver side transducer is working.In BT mode, no audio at all with channel 1 & 2 unplugged.I was going to swap it with another amp, but it’s only a 2 channel amp.Does MSSS1 require a 4channel amp, or can it be wired up in 2channel?What else can I do to diagnose this issue? I am currently looking at all the wires from the seat and headunit.
