The long terms are really just for retards buying stuff they can't afford or with bad credit. 500*60 is 30k, plenty of things MSRP under that even brand new with no discount. Retards either trade their negative equity car in, have bad credit and get double digit interest rates, or just can't afford a new car at all, and the dealer throws extra months on the loan so the monthly goes down because low credit retards don't know they'll end up paying way more over the course of the loan.

If you can get dealer promo rates (0-3%) or through a credit union (4-7%) and can put 20-30% down you're not gonna need to stretch the loan and the monthly is never going to look awful.
