It had widened fenders, but because the stock fenders were visually flared to begin with, they were hard to notice at a glance. Then it raided the VW parts bin for bits from Jettas, Golfs, etc, to do an AWD (Haldex) swap. The engine was a turbo VR6, with a dual clutch transmission, making over 500 HP at the wheels. All in a nondescript silver Beetle. I always wanted one just like it.
