The key is to the full length of one side of the vehicle because if you only do one panel they can swap that out, but if you mark multiple panels with a contious scarring it's way more expensive to repair. Honeslty though I know karma would catch up with me if I did, besides, keying is not as good as a tyre valve removal.Doing that is way quicker and you can do all tyres as little as 10 seconds with practice and makes it so they can't reinflate the tyres until they get to a garage where they can replace the valves, meaning you save your key from damage and you don't cause severe damage to the offending parties car but they are still severly hassled by having to go to a garage for a quick fix.
