Is this a good find or not worth the hassle for this classic find A 1986 Yamaha fj1200 with 65499.5 miles
>>29060169If you have to ask it's not for you
Op here lol I can imagine the old lady was an 80s babe turning heads while riding this in her prime
If you can afford the space and equipment to fix that bike then you can afford a bike that doesn't need to be fixed. As a project you can do whatever you want though.
>>29060169>has no key100% stolen, it will be randomly seized from you
>>29060218>swap engine into chinkshit quad
>>29060169Unless you race legends cars and need an engine, I wouldn't bother.
>>29060169Do it pussy.
>>29060169It will need an engine rebuild, a full suspension rebuild and then you need to sync a full bank of carbs. Tank is probably rusted to shit and in need of replacing or restoring.By the time you’re finished with it will be worth possibly as much as you put into it if you do all the work yourself. Not worth unless you want to learn how to restore a motorbike or you’re already good on the tools and have a special interest in this forgotten 80s bike that nobody really cares about now. You could probably bag a turnkey ready to ride equivalent of this bike for between 3-6k.
>>29060880Maybe only a top end rebuild, still likely not worth for the effort to reward ratio
