This is the Volvo EX60. It is a boring bog-standard midsize SUV for families. It has about 330 miles of range. However! It is also a 500hp beast that does 0-100 in less than 5s, 524 lb-ft of torque and it has adaptive suspension and AWD (that can be toggled to RWD only) too. And it doesn't cost $100k+. This variant retails for about 60k. ICE cars are being fast made irrelevant, an ICE car with these specs would be double the price (and most likely require 6-8cyl engines that regulations hate). We've reached the point where the electric driveline is maturing a great deal, beyond what ICE cars could do.
>>29063379Fuck off commie
LOL
the electric driveline hasn't changed in 50 years. why do you fuckin wrenchlets think anything about these is new? desperate to have something. the problem is and will remain the battery technology.
>>29063422Electric motors have become exceptionally more eficient and strongers. It's not all just batteries.
>>29063379EVs can also lick my nuts, a lot like what your mother is currently doing
>>29063422>the electric driveline hasn't changed in 50 yearslol
>>29063379If you want to sell me am EV you need to find a new way to give it emotion. Like a 15 speaker sound system. Or a built in ice maker. Or a device that jerks me off while I'm in stop and go traffic.
>>29063422Yeah remember all those 500hp electric suvs they use to make back in 1976?
>>29063481>Moving the goal postsRemember all the gas cars with 500 horsepower?Dumbfuk
Why did all of the EV threads appear during the evenings of Central/Southeast Asian cuntries?
>>29063499If something hasn't changed in 50 years then it must have existed 50 years ago for that statement to be true.
>>29063476>Like a 15 speaker sound system.Coincidentally, the Bowens&Wilkins in Volvo is some of the best car stereo systems ever. So much that car reviewers recommend you cashing out an extra 2-3 grand for it.
>>29063481But nobody has said the ICE drivetrain hasn't changed in 50 years though.
>>29063507Technically, that is true. You're right in saying no one said that. No one also said tree bark tastes like orange shoelaces. There's a lot of things no one said.
>>29063379Heard the Volvo EVs have a ton of issues and recalls. The EVs aren't made in Sweden like their ICE models, most are made in China in Geely plants, and are probably just rebrands of Geely EVs.
>>29063527Both drivetrains improve with time, but electric drivelines improve more as electric motors become more efficient with reduced costs of manufacturing. A V8 is as expensive as ever to make, if not even more in order to comply with modern emissions standards. >>29063877>Heard the Volvo EVs have a ton of issues and recalls.Mostly software shit that has mostly been ironed out now. The cars themselves are reliable. EX60 is created and manufactured in Gothenburg, Sweden.
>>29063379Are things really that bad in Europe? A cheap tuned F-150 will easily do those numbers and get a lot more than the 130 miles of range you'll get out of that little cuckover
