I don't listen to whole albums, I listen to random songs all in one big playlist. This is the last song I listened to:

Music is awful and is just noise for the sake of noise, invariably. I would not listen to it in a car, a plane, a boat, a train, let alone at home.

And worse yet is taking passengers who insist on making conversation. Those are simply the worst.

I'm a diagnosed, full on autist unironically and even for me this is levels of 'tism beyond my comprehension. That or you're soulless.

Most definitely it's the latter. That's not even autism, it's just mental deficiency

99% of music is corporate sloppa from the past 150 years, also talking to people is just awful since they become disinterested in when I talk about something I like (engineering of machines and infrastructure) and I am disinterested in what they like (music, film, et al, which is all gay and retarded). I would much rather listen to an old engine start up idle and rev up, regardless of whether it is a car or not or work on an actual machine than consume goyslop media. If I ever watch something it falls into one of three categories.
>film reels from shows, races or combat
>documentaries on machines
>rarely one of a handful of films (the newest being Battle of Britain)

Talking about cars with people is the worst too. They have such awful taste, I remember once I was trying to talk to this girl who claimed to really like cars.
>So, I heard you are into cars, which car is your favorite?
>I really like the Nissan Silvia S15. How about you anon?
>I personally like the Talbot Lago T-150
>Fugging ghosded DDDD:
Honestly I do not get people who salivate over Japanese cars or German cars from after the 1970s, they seem like normies and hypebeasts, but whatever makes people happy, I guess, just glad that I did not say that then and there, but is it really that bad to like art deco in the modern day?

I get the points you're trying to make but ultimately it just sounds like you're poorly socialized and selfish.
Talking to people isn't meant to constantly please your personal interests and music is interesting to lots of people (people who read/play music) on the same level that you enjoy machinery. A difference of opinion should open conversation not shut it down because you can't accept that people like different things than you.

I guess. I just wish there was someone else I could speak to about stuff like some interesting engine configurations made by Napier (of course the famous Deltic, but also the Sabre 24 cylinder liquid cooled H-block which could reach 3000 HP).

I guess I should keep an open mind, but I have nothing to bring to the table apart from changing the subject to the weather. Conversing is such a chore for me as a result.

Anyway, here is the sound of said engine, which was generally reserved for aircraft usage, so there is of course propeller noise too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q75SxMlr8gY

Bollocks, I look like a Plebbitor, the preview made it look like I had a lot more lines of text (oh well), but suffice to say, I do not listen to music, I do not watch television, I do not go to the cinema and I do not read fiction. I study diagrams. And if I don't, then I read history and engineering manuals instead.

Also forgive me for the little story in >>29071449 but I hope it illustrates that my best interactions are this way.

I'm 34 and I hated most of those 2000s emo-sounding bands when they were new and hate them now.
