and yes i know the hydra was mp dlc and i will never forgive them not because the hydra was dethroned, but because they didnt make the lazer (a fucking f15) mandatory in the singleplayer story like they did the hydra (av8b my mistress but not beloved (i'd have preferred an F18 if they were finna make canadian swag exist at all)
onestly i think gtav was a missed opportunity. they made a lot of concessions to the player in admitting it's a video game, that the best missions in gta games up until then were the big heist ones, but were too restrained after gta4's "grounded" stuff. gta sa had a lot of dumb fun shit missions. in that one, you assault an helicopter carrier laden with harriers and get into fogfights. in gtav you reenact a couple scenes from Heat. it's fun, but come on. the player has been to the sky, and there he yearns to return.there's some good assaults in infantry stuff to do, and the cinematography is really good, but you can only be kino once and the firefights become speedrun fodder. gta6 better have some fucking air combat ot at least really dynamic infantry stuff. gtav tried with giving you multiple characters but they made it super easy for casuals so you dont really need to use it to gain or press advantages. and the driving is just "lol shift boost and you win" even in the 360 era.gta6 will be good if they make the firefights actually hard and if they put a fuckton of dogfighting missions in it. preferably helicopter vs CAS urban environment shit. actually rockstar should just make a fucking competitor series to Ace Combat because their arcadey flight shit is fun and good
