They're popular with everyone. Especially the older ones are ~third best example America ever had of what made American cars so brilliant; put the biggest engine you can in the smallest car you can and make it as cheap as you can. Newer ones have gotten away from that a little being all track focused which jacks the price up more than it needs to but the C4-C6 was perfect in that regard.

Yeah I think it's more that boomers are mostly the ones that can afford them. They also have a tendency of creating clubs around their interests wherethey meet up in a field and sit on a camping chair while they talk to other club members for 6 hours.
