Okay, redpill me on buying a new car. Why would you buy something that loses 33% value over the first 3 years? A car is supposed to save your time and money, not waste it. Granted, you don't wanna drive something that has other man's cum stains on the upholstery, but jokes aside, is there any real reason to get a new car ever?

Were you born yesterday?
A car takes your money and time.

Well what do you think?

lmao

Why are you answering your own question? Cuckolds get leftovers.

Oh yeah just wait for her to get railed and have fun with all the other dudes before you get disappoint her for the rest of her life.
I can tell you think very highly of yourself. You deserve used.
>>
You can't put a price on some things in life, anon. Money is just a tool. I don't need another car, but if I wanted to I would spend the extra knowing that no one else has ever farted in it
>>
You buy a new car so you can be a statistic for people on /o/ to post, and be as much of a tool as possible who spends exorbitant amounts of money on a piece of shit for the sole purpose of saying you can. Think of the Supreme fad in the previous decade, but even more worthless and retarded.

I came in your car. All over the steering wheel and the driver's seat. My dog also pooped in that car. Have fun!

cars usually take part in test drives ya know?

God damn people are stupid.

In what world does a Camry depreciate that much? Maybe if it has 80k miles after 3 years.
If you buy anything <30k miles in that timeframe you might as well just buy new. It’ll only be a few grand more. For normal cars…for luxury barges and euroshit, yes, they actually depreciate without even considering their mileages. Toyotas and hondas…the depreciation is strictly how many miles were put on it. Not age.
Mazdas are a bit of both and are a good bargain.

>Toyotas and hondas…the depreciation is strictly how many miles were put on it. Not age.
Sure Toyota protects you from depreciation but then you're stuck with a Toyota. A fate worse than any depreciated car.
>>
>>29072964
Soulless and boring but reliable
>>
>>29072904
Because if you're not a retarded faggot who treats cars as investments, buying a new car is the best car you can buy. It also comes with very low interest rates, so instead of putting a bunch of money into a car, you put it into the stock market and end up with more money after 3 years than had you bought the car outright.
>>
>>29072952
No you didn't.
>>
>>29072964
>stuck with a Toyota. A fate worse than any depreciated car.
Grow up
>>
>>29072999
You sure about that? :)
>>

Toyota sucks buddy. Not like you're driving a Supra. The brand is just boring hybrid FWD cuckovers on repeat.
>>
I've purchased new cars and old cars. I don't really care for whatever emotional appeal you're trying to make.
My justification for each?:

New car? Makes sense for something cheap like a Mustang GT, GR86, Camry, or literally ANY minvan. These are cars that most buyers will beat on or treat like shit, and I think pretty close to what you mean of "other man's cum" on it.

For a luxury vehicle its a bit hit or miss. Its tempting to buy a new Maserati for example, not something that lives long past its warranty period. But for a well built S class or higher trim Lexus? These hardly get used, are purchased by geriatrics that just park them and have no concept of money at their age. They also have insane depreciation, you might as well get them used.
Then you get to cars where you either missed the train on a model year where all the stars lined up, or they don't make anymore. Best case here is to buy the best example you can and expect a premium of several thousand dollars afterwards to have it fully detailed and any issues sorted.

What should a self respecting white man with money and kids get?
>>
>>29073026
Porsche, BMW, Cadillac, maybe a Lexus if you're that keen on Jap reliability.

Cars are not investments, they're expenses.

>is there any real reason to get a new car
If you can afford a new car, it is certainly worth its value.

You seem less angry about "purchasing a new car," and more angry that you're not "purchasing a new car every 4 years."

Buy a new car and expect it to last a couple decades.
Turns out, accidents occur, people suck at driving, malfunctions arise, and younger people are reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaally vain.

Did you know? These used to be very popular!

>Buy a new car and expect it to last a couple decades
Imagine roaming the streets in a 2000s car today.
>>
>>29072904

Any type of significant repair is going to be 10k, if you can buy new there is little reason not to as used is no longer cheap.
>>
>>29072937
>>29072953
There are so many people with the opportunity to fart in a new car before someone drives it off the lot. Unless it has less than like 2 miles on it there's probably dozens of farts in that seat.
>>
>>29073079
My newest car is a decade old and my oldest is from 78. The only problem i have are the fucking auto bright headlights and leds. There haven't been any monumental safety improvements in the last 10 years everything is all electronic nanny gadgets that i would despise. I didn't want my car running jeetware that will take control away from me

Every breath you take is filled with untold trillions of particles originating from the orifices of hundreds of thousands of people and animals upwind of your area. Every minute sip of water you drink contains molecules that have been inside every other human ever to exist - have passed through the anus of every human ever to exist. Every surface you touch with your hands is crawling with microorganisms cultured inside the body of another person, or skin oils produced by their glands. The foam and leather interior components that your "new car" is assembled with were produced in a factory filled with the fart gas of assembly line workers, saturated with fart molecules on some level from the very instant they were ejected out of the die that formed them. Finally the molecules that make up your own "fart gas", like hydrogen sulfide, are 100% indistinguishable and interchangeable with those from every other person. Not even the most powerful tools humanity has at its disposal could look at your used car seat and ever tell that it was not you, but another, that farted in it. Just adding another compounding layer of irrationality to your already unhinged perspective on things.

>>
Fuck my stupid retarded life, my entire wardrobe has depreciated so hard im fucking underwater these clothes suck, I cant list in on grailed and beat inflation.
Its worse for the groceries I bought last year, complete total loss, just ate it and it LITERALLY became shit.

>>29073267
Autofags unironically reason like this
>>
>>29072904
Don’t buy a new car buy a used one with proven reliability.
Cars are a waste of both time and money. Unless you want one or need one, not having one makes more sense. It’s a giant complicated machine that breaks, requires maintenance and therefore money and/or time. If u live in an urban area can busride, and want to min-max finances, delet the car from your life.
>>
>>29072904
Buying new is worth it if you want to keep it for 5-10 years (or longer), or specifically want a virgin spurts car that isn't abused/secretly fucked up.

Also, new cars are often discounted even below the price of used cars, if you're good a negosturbating (watch Your Auto Advocate and Delivrd on JewTube).
>>
>>29072904
do you buy something so that you can have it, or that someone else has it at some point?
