>>29073982Are you saying this because you think a transaxle is innovative or something?
>>29073986mine's named sneezy
the balance gained by putting the gearbox is not worth having shifter linkage, all transmissions with linkage are complete shit.
>>29074050Literally doesn't matter now fast cars are paddleshift/ auto.
>>29074056He's talking about driving pleasure, not stat chasing.
>>29074050Yet Hondas are known for having great shifter feel.
>>29073982>baby just discovered transaxles
>>29074181Is that why so many FWD hondafags put in different shifter towers and cables/rods? The S2000 transmission feels good stock, but it's a direct action RWD transmission.
>>29073982>Engine in the front>Transmission in the rear>Perfect unity achieved.Nice, so you admit Pontiac nailed it in 1961?
>>29073982not going to lie, this makes me feel a bit funny down therethat's gorgeous
>>29074224>shifter towersYes, for shortening shift stroke, that's got nothing to do with it being cable actuated.>cables/rodsThere's no reason to replace the oem shifter cables. Anything that claims to be some kind of enhanced/upgraded shifter cable is pure snake oil. My old prelude, which used cables for the shifter, was the smoothest shifting transmission I've ever experienced.
>>29073982At least post a respectable car with this layout not some front wheel drive crossover
>>29074241>uses a bendy piece of rope for the driveshaftwhat the fuck were they thinking?
