You can drive a beautiful, modern, sporty EV with zero issues for under $5000
>>
i just looked and they are all over 10k

I wonder if a Mini EV is easier to work on than a gas one where everything is crammed in.
The issue is I drive a mini because I street park in the city. Charging would be a huge pain I would need to sit at a charging station for an hour every week.
If you have a house and garage where you can charge surely you would buy a bigger car.

>No, you cannot drive a stock Nissan Leaf while charging it with a standard portable generator.

>The car's safety software and onboard charging systems are intentionally designed to disable the vehicle's drive functions whenever it is plugged into an external charger. This prevents a driver from accidentally taking off while still connected to a power source. Additionally, standard AC chargers cannot operate while the vehicle's propulsion system is turned on.

>While advanced custom modifications (such as hacking the car's computer or wiring a DC generator directly to the high-voltage battery bus) have been experimentally attempted by electrical engineers, doing so requires extensive technical alterations, will immediately void the vehicle warranty, and creates severe safety and fire hazards.

>For standard driving and charging, the Nissan Leaf must be plugged in while parked and turned off.

Oxymorons abound.

Anon have you actually driven a nu-Mini. And I'm not talking the ones from 2010 or something, but one made in the last 5 years. They feel like they ride on pogo sticks, the interiors are a total let-down and the eye of Sauron in the centre console irks me something fierce.
