Why are enthusiast Hondas so expensive now? It seems to me that their abundance and budget price when they were new should keep them cheap and affordable, but all I see is not rusted barely running and driving Integras for 6k+ dollars, preludes for 10k+, Civic Si for 8k+, and S2000s for 30k+. It's not fucking fair. Even the basic econoscrap DX Civics, Integras, and RSXs are selling for much more than an equivalent condition Corolla or Maxima or other Jap cars.

My only car is a 2013 si with 200k km on it, I fully planned on driving this till the wheels fell off. I've had a lot of issues shifting the last few days to the point the only gears I could use reliably were 2nd and 4th. Today, the transmission got stuck in 3rd and the shifter is completely locked up. Just shifter cables and fluid change or am I fucked and should start looking for a new car I can't afford
