I had a heavily modded EKs many years ago. I drove another recently and couldn't believe how slow the steering was, I had forgot how much lock they require to make a difference in the direction the car goes.

Yeppers. Mine was a complete bag of shit, but I still quite liked it regardless. Leagues of space, reasonable power, good handling but still comfy... just a great all-rounder.
