I'm not, there's a reason why I bought an NC when I could have easily bought an ND. I got to drive an ND RF for three weeks and I can honestly say the NC PRHT is better in basically every way. The NC feels more raw and visceral while also being more comfortable. The steering feels much more connected to the road and two people can actually sit in the NC without feeling cramped. Hey guys, I'm in the process of going standalone and just ordered my ECU during a Labor Day sale.
My tuner recommended using a Kia TPS instead of the BMW one. From what I understand, the main difference is that the Kia TPS doesn't require an adapter harness, but it does require its own adapter bracket.
The problem is that I already purchased a $50 billet aluminum adapter for the BMW TPS, so if I stick with that setup, I would only need to buy a $35 adapter harness. I haven't purchased the TPS itself yet, and the Kia sensors appear to be slightly cheaper than the BMW ones.
So, would you go with the slightly cheaper Kia TPS and buy a new $50 billet adapter bracket (sell the old one), or stick with the BMW TPS and just purchase the $35 harness?
The total cost comes out to roughly the same either way, so I guess my main concern is the quality and reliability of the TPS itself.
Is there any real advantage to one over the other?
Also, which brand of TPS should I go with for either?

I'm looking at a 2006 with 30k miles this weekend, what should I watch out for on this vehicle that was apparently never driven?

That's just as good of an explanation as reality. Just pushed it way too hard on a fun road with too-old tires. So far, all I saw was a little plastic damage beneath the bumper and then some crushing in of rocker and frame rail. And certainly a ton of scratches and shit. Once I get the vehicle back (at the tow place right now), I will see what else. Managed to avoid all the trees. Pretty lucky, all thing's considered. Seems minimal damage and I didn't get hurt.

It's all a lie. If the pinch welds are same height the wheel fender gap is larger in front. If the car is level you get positive rake. This is cause the rear fender is smaller.

My first car was black (and still is, I still own it), but I can't subject myself to that a second time.
My last three cars have been white, and people in my life started joking about it being the 'tism with the third one.
The blue and machine gray look nice in the sunlight, but rather gloomy when in shade, which is most of the time here.

The E46 is a special case with a hybrid electronic and cable throttle body. Unless the car has the electronic side there to manipulate the throttle butterfly, an older style cable only throttle car has no way of maintaining an idle without a separate idle air control valve.

I actually found out recently that if you get the car truly level at the pinch welds, the front center of wheel to fender lip is actually going to be 1/2 in higher in the front cause the fenders are different sizes. Think something like 14 F 13.5 R. So it's aesthetics vs functionality and I'm trying to find a balance. I'm at 13.5F and 13 13/16 or 7/8ths ths rear. Probably gonna drop it 1/16th or 1/8th.
