I want a car that I can have a truck bed liner sprayed in the back cargo area and on the back of the rear seats so that when I lay them down they turn into a sort of truck bed. I can't find any cars that do this normally. The only thing I can think of that would sort of fit the bill is a jeep wrangler since you can remove a lot of the carpet but I'm not stoked about dealing with jeep problems. >Why?I don't need a full truck bed but I hunt and I need to throw things in the back. No I will not use the cuck shelf you put on the hitch. It would also be nice to have functionality similar to a truck bed for other things.
>>29084009Jetta Sportwagen, MK1.5 Ford Focus, VW Passat. My 2014 NMS Passat has rear fold down seats and the rear trunk is already pretty long and with the spare tire removed it's decently deep.
>>29084009Sounds like you want a Maverick. It's a FWD or AWD normal little crossover with a bed on the back. Get a rollup bed cover for when you want an enclosed trunk.
>>29084009>I want to spray offgassing plastic shit all over the passenger compartment of my carYou want a Chrysler minivan with the seats that fold into the floor and a tarp.
>>29084025The open air rear is what I'm after. That's why i was looking at the wrangler.>>29084027The maverick was the option I would probably go with if I had to end up getting a truck.>>29084051If the plastic molding thing is toxic I wouldn't use it. Rather go with bare metal or some other method. I need the car to go well in snow so I don't think a minivan would work for me.
>>29084056You're getting an AWD Maverick, then. It's a car chassis, it will drive like a car.
>>29084057But trugs are so svolless
>>29084063maverick is not a "truck" its a ute. unibody car with a bed
>>29084009Converting Firebirds and Camaros into trucks was actually a thing in Finland back in the 80s to avoid taxes.
That's retarded, retard. >I don't need a full truck bedNeither do most people, that's why crew cab short bed is by far the most common configuration.Buy a Honda Ridgeline or a Ford Maverick.
>>29084009>I want a car that I can have a truck bed liner sprayed in the back cargo area and on the back of the rear seats so that when I lay them down they turn into a sort of truck bed.>Buy a wagon>Replace rear seatback covering and luggage area carpet with truck bed material. >????>Profit(A P2 Volvo V70 also has a fold-up barrier that keeps the load away from the front seats)
>>29084009It didn't sell
>>29084009You want a humvee.
Or a honda element. Not open topped but its got no carpeting or fabric inside. Its all vinyl, hard plastic and waterproof seat covers.
Or a GMT800 Avalanche.
>>29084009>picrelyou are the only person in america who would benefit from a kei truck
>>29084118>>29084121This Anon knows ball. Outside of a pedo van these are probably the move.
>>29084125>>29084121>>29084118If he's hauling a deer carcass, I don't care how many mats he puts down, that stank can permeate the cloth interior forever. Hence the Maverick.
>>29084025Every sw has that, and some can even fold the front passenger seat for extra long capacity (e g: the Mégane 2).
>>29084056Sawzall or concrete saw will be your friend.
>>29084009So a Bronco?
