Help me out bros. I need a fun second car for the winter since I am sick of driving my miata in the snow.$40k budget new or used. Manual only and fwd or awd. I've been looking at the wrx and the mazda 3.

even though it's been done to death that no one "needs" awd specifically for snow and tires matter a lot etc etc etc, I still feel like I'd prefer $40k gets me awd over fwd. that said what about a gr corolla

a beater WRX is your best bet if you want some soul in your snow driving. unless the issue with your miata in snow is the snow depth, though, that sounds like a skill issue of the highest order
