Efficiency is sort of a meme with EVs. The ideal body shape for high efficiency is so long anyways that you might aswell fit a bigger battery in there. Maybe it's great for low weight sports cars but they aren't long enough to be aerodynamic anyways. Battery packs are dropping so fast in price these days.
