then what's the fucking point
>>
Citroen knows car rental companies would be interested so they jacked the prices up intentionally as they make more money out of those guys than from your average consumer

Many countries let you drive one without a licence.
This means the underage and the banned can join those that turn up announced and demand free homes on the road.

That thing is cheap compared to pic related. Saw a number of them in Munich.

Ami is uglier than sin. The Topolino looks infinitely better with really minimal changes.
>>
>>29094994
at least its less unsettling than the original ami

car looks like a person's soul got trapped into a automobile
>>
>>29094980
Too bad it's from F*AT (nonexistent now, thank god, but sadly still kept as a zombie by St*llantis)
>>
>>29095009
Most car companies are owned by others.
I doubt anyone is rich enough to have a factory mass produce cars under their name now.
>>
How the fuck are these allowed on road when the primary demographic who buys them cant/shouldn't drive a regular car to begin with meanwhile e bikes and scooters are under scrunity
>>
>>29095023
Transport cubes are not supposed to be fun. When management finds out that there are workarounds for that they will be just as evil as armed people on an e-bike stealing your 'phone.
>>
>>29094994
Microlinos are really cute.
Pity they're so overpriced.
>>
>>29094980
Back in my day we'd ride a scooter. Much easier to find a parking spot and weave through traffic.
>>
>>29095019
Sure but some car companies have better reputation than others.
You couldn't pay me to get a Shittantis product

They're made in fucking Switzerland, I bet they're as cheap as a swiss manufacturer can make them.

Besides, they're a modern copy of the BMW Isetta

it’s pretty cute but it feels like it’s missing something. can’t quite put my finger on what. maybe more chrome, maybe just slightly more bulbous panels. not sure.

It's an Isetta rip-off. What it's missing is originality, sincerity and charm.

>>
Broadcasting your sexuality to the world has a price
>>
>>29095289
Not really. The Ami is the most cost-oriented design imaginable, and it's not even endearing in the way say the original Fiat 500 was, which is another extremely cost-oriented design that still managed to become a design icon because it was actually good. The alien looking front/back of the Ami communicates everything but friendliness. Much like the Microlino, the Topolino is a ripoff of an original '50s design, with the added constrain of having to work around the limitations of the Ami, and Fiat somehow still managed to make something better looking and much cuter than the Ami, although still inferior to the original 500

They're Europe's take on a kei car. Ideal if you just use it in a big city. Imagine how many of the little things you could fit in your garage. LoL.
>>
I don't usually say this term, and I don't want to use it lightly -- these are actual, literal pikachubullshits
>>
>>29094957
manufacturers have been doing shit wrong on purpose to own the libs and prove why none of their offerings should ever change ever (except in price, open that wallet goy)
>>
>>29095009
Fiat is doing well in South America.
>>
>>29095524
>ideal
how the fuck is it ideal?
You can say
>it's not complete ass in a city
But IDEAL? Seriously nigger?
>>
>>29095809
Narrow cars are easier to maneuver in traffic, easier to park, there's more suitable small parking spots, road seems wider, easier to slip up the inside when someone is waiting to turn across traffic, driving more aggressively to keep up with traffic.
What advantages do big cars have in the city?
>>
>>29095838
Something like a Dacia Spring is 10 times better while not being too big. It's still a tiny car.
These tiny ass cars (especially the expensive ones) are exclusively for tourist agencies that buy them in bulk and rent them

IDK about Dacia cars. They're not sold in Australia. I'm only generalizing anyway, but I daily drive a Japanese mini truck, so the experience is similar.
>>
>>29094957
Just don't be poor. You have a job right? You aren't a lazy as fuck neet or g*d forbid a min-wage worker.
>>
>>29095840
The spring is twice the price you could buy the ami and a used diesel car
>>
>>29094957
I can see the appeal in a city, I saw metric fuckton in Amsterdam. And some are cute, like >>29094980 >>29094994
But driving in any city is AIDS, so they're not for me.
>>
Can't wait to crush every single one of these shitbox fag cars under the powerful wheels of my F-250. You don't belong on the road. You are literally worse than a /n/igger cyclist.
>>
>>29095953
Twice the price but ten times better, also I did say "especially the expensive ones" so stop being a prick. You don't own one of these tiny cars anyway
>>
>>29096023
I think you don't even need a vehicle. These shitty cars are so tiny and you're so obese that you could just flop on top of one and squish it

Visit European cities and you will realize why. Especially Italy, France, and Spain. The convenience is worth the money for many people.
>>

Doesn't that car get tax breaks that the cars this thread is about don't?
>>
>>29094957
I have a registered one in the US, but it's because I'm injured and can't drive a normal car. There would be no other reason for me to buy one unless I had a daily driver and a classic already. Maybe a boat first.
>>
>>29096590
They don't get any different tax breaks than other EVs

There is a reason why Euro landyachts are so rare domestically. Euro urbanscapes are fucking unbearable for anything larger than a sedan, and even a sedan has a hard time commuting. But if you drive a 3 door or a hatchback you will fucking blitz most Euro hellholes with how easy it is to overtake or corner with a lighter car. It's why Euros are so cock hungry for Golfs and Minis and why V8s are seldom used: good fucking luck finding a road long enough near an urban sprawled to use it properly.
>>
>>29096912
That's what I'm saying: get a small car, but an ACTUAL car. You don't need these tiny ass microcars
>>
>>29096912
ive actually been to yurop and its not like this at all except in tourist trap hellholes

I need it even smaller but with aircon and ice. As barebone as possible to get it cheap for commuting

>ive actually been to yurop and its not like this at all except in tourist trap hellholes
Well you're clearly lying then

I pushed one of those off the road a few weeks ago. There is 0 legitimacy for these zoomer retards being on my road doing half the speed limit and blocking dozens of good citizens coming back from work. It's a lack of respect.
I gently pushed him and he panicked and rolled into the fields off road. Hope he was terrified and never comes on regular roads again.
If they don't update the law these teenagers are going to die, straight up. I was gentle because my car is nice, but in a few weeks I'll probably be getting a shitty EV I have no respect for, and I will have no problem scraping and bumping that shit if it needs to be done.
>>
>>29100949
EVs drive pretty fast, what's wrong with them
>>
>>29101105
These things aren't cars, they're capped at 45km/h. It's an oversized scooter.

>>
>>29101815
no, that's not a car. It doesn't require a license and it doesn't have the ability to fit in traffic outside the city.
what I did was a service to the community.
Plus, I was gentle.

Saw quite a few in italy. They have a few zones where cars of a certain maximum dimensions are allowed and they were quite popular. Pretty cool to see them rolling around Orvieto usually driven around by some hottie.
>>
>>29094957
people will say these are saving traffic and don't need a license and then besmirch e-bikes and mopeds and demand that only professionals be allowed to even purchase one
