What /o/ chuds think about volvo xc90 2007-2010?
I heard it's really popular in Latvia so it must be durable, their roads are not the best and winters are harsh.I've driven other P2 platform cars so I can say that the seats are super comfy.

>>29096086Imo people overestimate what they need in terms of offroad capability. I drive a fwd V50 and it's sufficient for my outings on poor roads and through the forest for picking mushrooms. I've driven it over branches, over fields, mud, snow and similar, the main issue where I would get stuck is due to low ground clearance and that is what the xc90 has plenty of. Make sure you buy good tyres though. Also consider getting a gasoline xc90 that has an inbuilt natural gas container, running such a beast on natural gas can be around 20% cheaper than the diesel version and a LOT cheaper than running on gasoline.

>>29097379It doesn't. "Go forest in eastern Europe" might mean take a well maintained flat proper forest road like pic rel or take a heavy equipment ruined roads with deep tracks. You can take Miata to the first and need an actual lifted off-road build for the latter.

I would buy it.My first xC90 from 2002 had more than 300000 km when I sold it last year to buy one of the last models before facelift. It had 160000 km and felt like new. The XC 90 is the most reliable car I've ever had in my life.

If you live somewhere where asian cars is more common it's probably cheaper to drive an asian car. Also you guys should know, it's fucking premium to drive Volvo even in Sweden these days, only the old ones are cheap because everyone knows them and spare parts are plenty
