>>29097551I'm assuming the intake manifold connection is the low pressure side. In that case you'd have a tiny amount of vacuum in the crank which might not be enough. Although I don't really know how these engines operate. new to me '92 NA owner, has anyone had the RPM's drop only when the car is warm and put in gear? It will idle normally at around 900 rpm when in neutral with the clutch out. Clutch in, no change. Put into gear, it will drop to around 600 rpm and stay there. Back in neutral it will go back to 900 rpm and sit there fine. Not sure if it's related, but if you are in neutral and turn the A/C on it will actually jump up in revs to like 1200-1300 rpm but then eventually go back down to the normal 900. It will also droop after turning the A/C off to around 600 rpm and then back to the normal 900.The main things I have seen from researching seem to be like this: https://www.miata.net/garage/KnowYourCar/S7_Idle.html. Their idle always seem to go back to the normal 900 RPM vice mine where the idle increases for the A/C turning on and mine also just stays at the 600 RPM instead of leveling itself out. However, this all only happens after the car is warm. During the warm up idle/mapping where the ECU holds RPM at ~1100, RPM does NOT dip when I put it in gear. It's also not clutch dragging since if I put it in gear on flat ground and foot completely off the brake it will not move. I'm just at a loss of what it could be other than cleaning the IACV.
