Do you ever drive home after drinking? I just did, and it turned out fine.
>>
I used to drive to work after drinking. I've only been "drunk" a handful of times in my life. I'm just not a lightweight even when I down heavy mixed drinks.

i drank a whole 600 ml bottle of water right before heading home from work once and barely made it to my bathroom in time

And whatever you do, don't sleep on the side of the road or a parking lot. Otherwise some random cop will weasel himself into writing you up for a DUI, even when you're sleeping in the back of the car with the keys in the glovebox out of reach.
>Well anon, what have we learned?
>That it's better for me to just drive all the way home than to sleep it off part way through

agreed though i have slept at rest stops and been just fine. it's a lot weirder to see a lone car in an otherwise empty parking lot at night.

Even if alcohol reduces my driving abilities by 1/2, I'm still a better driver than 99% of people on the road today.

No, I only drink at home when I know I’ve got nowhere to be. Problem solved.

A lot of people don't read parking situations right, they will park in the back of a vacant buildings parking lot and get popped every time. Instead park where there are a lot of cars and you can easily blend in.

i saw an episode of live pd where they tried to bust a guy for this, decided to initiate an armed standoff (including rifles and a grenade launcher) instead of just going "hey buddy wake up", it turned out he wasn't drunk, and then they shifted probable cause to him not having a steering wheel (???) and then it turned out he did have a steering wheel, it was just a fancy racing type that pops off, and he had popped it off so he could take a nap without it being in the way and hopefully signalling to police that he's unable to operate the car (apparently didnt work)

yep, cops are bottom-of-the-barrel, lowest common denominator, low IQ imbeciles.

Not after, since there's a case of beer in the middle seat. Empties go out the little sliding window into the bed.

this is like an episode of Reno 911

Old cunt here. I've done it well over 1,000 times. Might even be 2,000. Never been busted. Here are my remarkable stats:
41 years car driving
35 years motorcycle riding
27 years truck driving....
...for a grand total of z-e-r-o collisions. If you're a skilled unit and can handle your booze, it's not a problem. Drink driving laws are necessarily aimed at allowing for young Asian females.

Almost the same, except they fuckin got me one time because my FUCKING tail light was out. Life's not fair
