Either because you had to sell it or it became a total loss due to a car accident like pic related
>>29103765Explain to me how i owned a similar setup to my 96 ranger? Its almost the same setup like wise except mines a short bed.
>>29103781My ranger was a 2004, you clearly posted a splash model anon.
>>29103784I probably used a front end of a splash model because the entire trucks a junker that i purchased for $300 in my sophomore year of highschool at a local scrap venue. The title said it was a 96 model xlt , but the cab looks similar to the early 1993 ranger cabs that tend to look squarish.
>>291037654x4 single cab rangers are the tits. been looking for one, all the single cabs around me are 2wd
>>29103792Fair enough i guess you made a hodge pot of things
>>29103891They are very rare, my 04 was a 6 speed electric switch 4x4 and the most reliable button selector 4x4 platforms out there unlike the s10.
>>29103765Tell me you have a small penis without saying you have a small penis. Only blue collar tradies and farmers should be allowed to own trucks. They are a nuisance on the road and are threatening to me in my Toyota Yaris.
>>29103929Single cab light trucks are based personal vehicles. Crew and extended cabs are tradie shit
>>29103929>Tell me you have a small penis without saying you have a small penis.>vehicle in the argument a ford ranger.Kys
>>29103929This is rage bait, but i used that things bed more than any modern pick up truck owner. I hauled tools for my construction work, furniture, picked up some lots and loads of metal to a scrap yard for cash.
>>29103953A Subaru Forester has more cargo space than your truck.
>>29103975
>>29103985Low quality bait too.
>>29103986It’s been a hot minute since I’ve seen bait that poor
>>29103765ran off the road a couple years ago by some dude who got stoned while delivering a door dash order.i hope those fucking little ceasar's breadsticks were worth killing my car over.
I miss my ‘06 Grand Vitara. That thing got around so well in the winter.
>>29104113Swiggity swooty
I regret none.
>>29103765My 65 Galaxie 500 LTD, which was unfathomablly cool. Had a 460 overbored and stroked to 510 with a dual 4bbl Holley setup and a two speed Lokar ready to drop in, and someone broke into my garage and took everything when I was out of town working for a few days. Tools, parts, the box with all the chrome trim set aside for the repaint, they even finished pulling the 352FE motor that was in the car and stole it too, anything that they could get. I was out nearly $120K in parts, tools, etc... The shell sat in my barn for 10 years until I sold it to one of my dad's friends who raced dirt track cars and could use some of the components. That's the one that is still an open wound. Also the 1990 K5 Blazer that my mom bought new when I was 2, so I grew up in it and have no childhood memories that it didn't factor into in some way. Lost me job back during covid, sold it to pay the mortgage a couple more months when the reserves started getting low. I miss it, but in the way you miss a childhood friend who moved away. A young kid bought it, I ran into him a few months afterwards and he showed me pictures of the work he was doing, full frame off restoration. It went to someone who is taking care of it and loves it, and that makes me feel better.
miss this car so much. was our family car and had almost 450k miles on the odo.
>>29104329what happened with that galaxie was fucking brutal. i'd probably go to jail if i found out where the thief livedthe bronco was comfy though, glad it's gone to someone who cares about it.
>>29104329what did you purchase with the insurance payout?surely you weren't dumb enough not to have over $150k worth of goods uninsured, right?
>>29103779Kys spic subhuman
>>29104446I got about $85k from insurance. A lot of the tools were inherited specialty tools, but sonce I didn't itemize them when I got my insurance policy I didn't get full value, since it's hard to convince an insurance adjuster that a US-made craftsman torque wrench from the 70s is, in fact, worth more than the $29.99 chinesium one sold under the same name now. I did much better with my new policy after that. I paid off some land, replaced what I could of the tools, and put the rest in my 401k. It's not the monetary loss that hurt, it was coming home to an empty garage when the car was just a few weekends of work away from finished. Insurance sure as hell wasn't paying me for all the late nights turning wrenches before it was stolen.
>>29104446Insurance is a scam. They'll never pay you what things are actually worth.
>>29104329>ltd That is one big bitch.
>>29104451I’m not hispanic at all, I just don’t regret losing any cars because it is part have GOD’s plan
This... (Not 'the' truck but same model / color). It was only 2wd, but that god damn ranger was TOUGH. I beat the living hell out of it, and it just kept coming back for more....Driving to school back in the day and a fucking flock of turkeys fly over the road. My grille eats one and it hits the transmission cooler. Didn't notice it was dark going in to school (started 6:45 AM), and lost the transmission a mile up the road. I wanted to get it rebuilt, and about 2 days later my dad decided to call a wrecker and have it scrapped. Lost a nice stereo, 2 12in subs, 1000w amp, some personal belongings, and never saw it again.. Proceeded to own several total pieces of shit, before being able to afford something that didn't rot out after 8 months to a year...
>>29105527I regret the decision to buy a gladiator.
I regret not BUYING a Nissan Titan that was up for an excellent price and was in amazing condition for the environment we are in. It felt like a slight downgrade from the ram I had as the bed was a little shorter and the payload was lower. I was already running out of springs on the ram and these roads are so bad you really cant get anywhere over walking speed if you are sitting on the bump stops.Though that thing has over doubled in value right now and would have been perfect for what i do now
>>29103765My Vanden Plas 4 Litre R. I had too many other cars to sort out, and the complete lack of parts availability was really starting to grate on me; the last thing I needed at the time was another un-roadworthy car. It was also also a tad inconvenient to daily drive, as the turning circle was reminiscent of the Ever Given, and the MPGs were somewhere in the teens. Sold it a couple months ago, and watching it drive off was pretty damn depressing. A part of me regrets it, but the other part acknowledges how impractical and stressful it would have become over time... Oh well.
Is that all /o/ drives these days, trucks and rental cars?
>>29103765Oh no muh generic econobox
>>29106064Rangers are pretty based. You wouldn't know because you're a bus rider.
>>29106051sad to see her goShoulda lost the weeblet bullshit insteadAshley’s Prettier anyway
>>29106095
>>29104332I had one of those except it was carb'd and also had a blown head gasket
>>29105957Sexy Ranger.
>>29105957That truck oozes testosterone
>>29106088Theyre generic soulless econoboxes. No actual car enthusiast would give a fuck about such a vehicle.
>>29103765I miss my 77 El Camino. Visually it was an absolute wreck. Peeling paint, dents everywhere, torn up seats, missing the dashboard, carpet all stained up, half the grill missing, etc... but by golly it was the most mechanically solid vehicle I've ever owned. An absolute pleasure to drive.
>>29103765>due to a car accident like pic relatedWhat? The dent in the tailgate?
Had a 2 door 5 speed 4x4 Jimmy S15. It only had the 160hp 4.3 TBI but it was still really fun to drive. The block heater bolt snapped and I thought I could limp it home with no coolant. She didn't like that. Now they're pretty much extinct.
>>29104018What did you like so much about it? Talk me into keeping my gm v6 one
>>29106536Reminds me of my 84 Bronco 2. I don't know I had a lemon, but that piece of crap could barely get itself up a hill. Still, it has a good look I think. If I still had it I could make it into something pretty special.
Almost every car I've sold, I regret selling. If I had a big piece of land to build a garage for them all, I'd have kept them. So many awesome cars.
>>29106586That does look cool, I'm terrified of owning anything with special glass though. Some jealous nog can just ruin my life with one simple trick with a rock.
>>29104595employment is a bigger scam
>>29106323Oh no! Someone likes something you don't! Kill yourself.
