Can I get a am I stupid check?

My work place is about to issue RTO, 50 min one way commute. Should I get a model Y to help handle the mornings and afternoon commute back.

$120K TC about $500k NW. I dunno if I can afford it but it would he very nice for the commute and would let me retire my old shitbox.

ima RTO the Y too, my TC is SW though
>>
Get a used Y from Tesla. I bought a used Model 3 two years ago and it is paying for itself if I compare it to running my other car. 54k miles used and now currently at 122k miles.

Why do you need a cuck u vee?
Get a model 3 or S
>>
LOL
>>
Tell them you moved to another city
>>
Get something with FSD and sign onto your laptop when you get in the car (whatever time work starts). Leave 50 mins early and work on your commute home too.
Fuck RTO

This is the smart play. If you are looking for economics purely, a used Tesla is your best bet. People are way too scared about degradation and the used market is heavily underpriced for their value.
>>
If you can get a level 2 charger installed at your house I'd say it's not a bad idea.

This
EVs can make economic sense if you are aware of the fixed costs and dont already own a vehicle to commute in.

Trying to talk a freind out of yet another vehicle cuase you can buy a lot of gas purchase price and maintenance costs.

Without a home charger OP you could end up paying more to drive than gas.
>>
You require level 2 charging in order to make this work. Note that if your workplace offers level 2 charging then you'll only need level 1 charging at home.

You might be better off just buying a hybrid.
