Why did Limos go out of style? What makes Sprinter Luxury Vans so much better?
>>
>>29108625
Because moderniggers are boring and don't have a sense of style. That's also why they either don't dress up at all, or throw on random clothes that don't go together.
>>
If you're a richfag then why not just ride a 'copter?

Because it's a dogshit $30k car with an ugly couch stuffed in the back and it stinks of high school prom vomit. It's a poor person's idea of an expensive car.

What platforms are limos going to be built on? There's no more body on frame sedans. There's some freaky unibody shit like >>29108631 , Cayennes, Range Rovers, Ferrari 360s or even the Lincoln MKTs that they thought would replace the Town Car, but the simple fact of the matter is that it's significantly easier to build a limousine on a body on frame platform where there's a lot less fabrication required and rigidity isn't a concern.
It's also far more 'luxurious' to be able to climb into a fully kitted out luxury van you can actually walk around in, even if your head has to be down, compared to a sedan-based limo where you'll essentially have to crawl around on the inside.
I'd wager that it's for the reasons of both space, and the full frame as to why many of the actual limousines left are now just built on Escalade/Navigator chassis nowadays.
>>
limos are for functions. a real rich nigga would just have a rolls or maybach if they wanted to ride around in luxury
>>
They basically got made illegal. All the existing ones are grandfathered in, but new ones have to meet basically the same crash ratings as any other car and nobody is gonna crash test such a niche vehicle when there are plenty still around.

You can't ride helicopters in bad weather conditions or even in fog, they're not like planes. Helicopter Navigation Instruments are way more sensitive to the environment.

Vans & Minivans are exempt from the Safety Standards?
>>
>>29108625
Notice they went away in the same as body on frame sedans.
>>29108662
Nonsense. There just isn't a platform to make them out of.

>Why did Limos go out of style?
One reason traditional stretch limousines went out of style is that they were designed for an earlier passenger market. Their low floors, narrow doors, limited headroom, and tightly arranged seating can make entry and exit difficult for many modern passengers, particularly people with larger bodies. This issue has become more significant as the U.S. population has grown heavier over time: adult obesity prevalence was approximately 22–23% during the 1980s, when stretch limousines were at their cultural peak, compared with about 40% today. Sprinter vans address these limitations directly. Their taller bodies, higher seating positions, wide side doors, open aisles, and flexible interiors provide more usable space and make boarding easier, making them more accessible than traditional stretch limousines.

people stopped having enough irl friends to fill them up

When I went to vegas I got an escalade limo to the hotel and back to the airport for the lulz.
Didn't do any drinks or blast music or anything like that just used it as a pointlessly huge taxi in the middle of the day.
Cost a little over $100 round trip and I tipped the driver a $20.

all of the times ive been in a limo its been kind of uncomfortable/lame as fuck. the reasons why: the hummer limo it had like bench style seats along the sides very close to the floor so there was hardly any leg room and the second one was set up for like 2 people in the back. it had the back seats and the rest of it was a bar with no other seats. the hummer limo exterior was shitty like the windows all had caulk around them

He doesn't count, he killed HIMSELF in that helicopter, flying like a fucking retard. Forgot that a helicopter isn't a car and if you fuck up you don't just wind up upside down in a ditch protected by your cage and harness.

>Why did Limos go out of style?

New sedans are all unibody which makes them impractical to stretch the way a body on frame design can be that's why most modern limos are based on SUVs or vans.

Helicopter pilot still at fault. PIC has the authority in safe operation of an aircraft.
>>
New cars can't be converted to limos, hearses, or hospital cars.

Imagine your last ride is in the back of a honda odyssey instead of a proper cadillac hearse

stripped chassis cutaways/panel trucks are based on vans & they still exist.

Yes we have more traffic accidents, but for how expensive it is to afford a heli, there have been too many accidents involving those things.
>>
>>29112006
no he didnt. colin was actually riding with a friend who also had a heli license and his homeboy crashed it. and colin is not dead he lives in my walls

They aren't too niche to be worth testing, unlike limos. Expect this to change once the grandfathered limos start to all break down and get rare enough that there is demand for new ones again.
