Ladies and Traps, today, I place the French on trial for the things they've engineered.
To begin, we will hear Anon's testimony and picture evidence.
If convicted, the French will be walled off and forced to deal with only themselves and will no longer be allowed to impose French upon anyone else.
I think I have a strong beginning: (picrel) This isn't a fucking car it's a joke on Play-Skool toys. That's not being serious and I refuse to accept that the French thought for one minute anyone wants this. It's goddamn smug art is what it is.

The French are capable of being normal, they just choose to be experimental.

What the fuck is this??? The Ac compressor and alternator are driven by a meter long shaft, there's steering rack or something in the middle of everything somehow. I can't tell if the engine is an inline, V or something else altogether

Technically it's mid-engine, front-wheel drive. The gearbox sits ahead of the engine, and the engine sits entirely behind the front wheels.

That's the AIRBUMP ®, a feature meant to protect the car from Paris and its peaceful people.
Some of their newer, blockier cars almost look like they're meant to provide a platform for rioters to climb on and claim the high ground.

i like how the brake master is the first one being pressurized by the hydraulic fluid, so if you notice your suspension sag, its a clear sign that brakes are next to go

It's a megaold car, from the time you only got the left mirror as standard (right one was a paid option).
>>
>>29112004
This one was very popular with old people circa the mid-2010s in Eastern Europe, as a second-hand car (imported from Western countries). The entryway is massive, and sliding doors make those shitass Lidl parking lots look a lot bigger.

Le Corbusier just built houses with spare parts he had access to; in his case Airbus fuselages. I would like to see a Mies van der Rohe design philosophy, with luxury granite paneling.

Isn't the Fiat Multipla an Italian car?

Yes. Yes it is. Wasn't styled by a frog either.
>>
>>29112395
>That's the AIRBUMP ®, a feature meant to protect the car from Paris and its peaceful people.

Not a bad idea. I've read that in France, and specifically Paris, it's common for cars to bump into each other when parallel parking. They actually still use bumpers for their intended purpose there. And cars will park so close together that sometimes even if you don't hit any cars when you parallel park, when you go to leave your parking spot after a few hours, you may need to bump the cars in front of and behind you in order to create enough space to exit your parking space.

In that case, these air bump side bumpers probably provide a similar purpose for tight parking lots I'm guessing, or maybe it's just a way to avoid door dings in parking lots. Either way, I don't hate it
>>
>>29117573
I kind of miss them desu, both for their function and funky styling, dunno if it's a thing that can be easily replicated by other carmakers, but I'd like to see them try
>>
>>29111961
Fuck you man you've never driven a multipla. It is ugly as sin but it's the most practical and useful car ever made.
>>
>>29117268
More evidence against the French, basically.
>>29117506
The italian stylist openly worshipped and emulated two french designers; c'est French motherfucker.
