Ranger edge 4x4’s are starting to get pricey pic rel is asking $8000 firm on a 2007 platform with 130,000 miles
Both are super gay. A 2500 GMT800 will outlive both of those Pikachu mobiles.
>>29113161Ignore this anon
>>29113161Do you fill up with 87 or 93
>>29113168is pikachu okay
>>2911317487 because my engine is not made from rainbows and gayness and makes plenty of power with shitty fuel.
Frontier
>>29113185What year ?
>>29113159S10 for half the price.
>>29113184Anon but local bus transports use diesel fuel.
>>29113192I own an s10 clapped out. But you see an s10 has a distributor.
>>29113161GMT800s are trash. As is your opinion. Discarded.
>>29113185Taxed as well
>>29113177he just saw a paldean wooper
>>29113194Not here. The city buses are CNG, the little shuttle buses are gasoline and most school buses are propane V10's. Vaping pig piss is pretty gay.>>29113196There are 3000 GMT800's out there for every one Ranger.
>>29113208>There are 3000 GMT800's out there for every one Ranger. There are 3000 piles of shit out there for every diamond... You're not proving your point the way you think you are.
>>29113195>But you see an s10 has a distributor. Why is this bad?
>>29113216the commie distributor versus the capitalist coil-on-packno goddamn pinko commisar caps and rotors in this household son
>>29113191Any year.
>>29113159Old ranger looks goofy to me, toyota looks better.Tho I started disliking toyota bcause how meme'd it got by annoying suckers of reddit.
>>29113159Hey OP have you considered fucking yourself in your fat fucking ass?
>>29113289Fuck me in my fat fucking ass yourself, you fucking coward you won't, no balls
>>29113159The ranger will need a clutch slave cylinder soon and that's a transmission out of the truck job because Ford is retarded. If it's an automatic, then nothing to really worry about.
>>29113159Do you trust mutts to make a better and reliable vehicle than the japs?
fyi, 2.3l mt 2wd ranger is easily capable of 30mpg and even higher with grandma driving habits.i think the 6cyl rangers get some 16-18mpg
>>291135868 spark plug model or duratec
>>291135866 cylinder gets about 22-23 highwayEvery ranger engine is good aside from the sohc 4.0. That one has a timing chain in both the front and back of the engine.
>>29113191It was unchanged from 2005-2021, and even then it's still mostly the same truck
>>29113605the more modern, slightly less neglect/idiot proof duratech
Uhh yeah lemme get uhh """"small""" truck, hold the fuel economy, give me a diet horsepower and uhh while we're at make it so the interior can barely ride 2 people comfortably, I'm not even gonna haul or towing anything anyways>Ok sir you total costs as much as any other used full size, pull up to first window
>>29113208We've been over the GMT400/800.I made note of all the ones I saw on the road and 90% were absolute garbage. The drivetrains keep running but the truck disolves around it. They get bought by teenagers and spics who want a cheap truck that will get them from point A to point B but they dont care that the door handles broke (again) and the instrument cluster is dead. Those were dark days at GM and basically any other brand is better.
>>29113723>The drivetrains keep running but the truck disolves around it.This is what happens to every mechanically reliable vehicle that gets driven year round in places where they salt the roads.
>>29113732They dont salt the roads in my state and the GMT400/800s are still pieces of shit.
>>29113159I just bought an OBS F-250 for two grand.
>>29113460Rangers are based on mazdas...>>29114036 gm still has not solved the drainage issue that rots thier trucks.I live in taxachusetts and go west to get gnt800s when mine get totaled by 19 year old girls on thier cell phones (happened twice ) ranger vs tacoma? Ranger. If it is an 07 tacoma and got a new frame from toyota? I pick the taco. Either would have the be manual and 4x4 for me though. 6'2 and 2nd is alnost in my knee on both. Extended cab taco is best..
>>29113723>The drivetrains keep running but the truck disolves around it.You're not proving your point the way you think you are.
>>29114036They don't salt them here either and they're just fine. Better than Ford modular junk for sure and dodge can't build a truck that doesn't fall apart around the engine and not wipe cams either so they're right out.
>>29114221Mazdas are based on Rangers, idiot.
>>29114269>Ford modular junkRanger never had a modular engine.
You don't need either of these penis compensation vehicles
>>29114302Never said it did, but the full size GMT800's direct competitor sure did. Not that the 3.0 and 4.0 weren't also dogshit for their own reasons.
>>29114221>and go west to getI have 1 of 3 known FSB that are rust and crack free. Bought off some boomer in Vegas.>thats not rust, its a plastic fender liner (duh)with clay dust on it.
>>29114309GMT fanbois are on the same level as those miata douchebags.Dude, just give it up already. My 1966 F100 and my 1968 F100 have their original door handles. You would think that was a simple thing but your brain on GM says "naw its fine, just break it and replace it every 5 years..."Your truck is trash dude.Youre just in denial and havent come to terms with it yet.
>>29114318Oh, for the record, my '85 Bronco also has the original door handles
>>29114318Wow it's almost like my complaint about the Fords was regarding the OHC engine family which isn't in yours that are 40 years older and not the fucking door handles.
>>29114318>My 1966 F100 and my 1968 F100Why are you entirely ignoring how entirely garbage the '90s and '00s Ford trucks that competed with the Chevrolet are? Most are already off the road at this point lmao
Whatever you do don't get 5g Ranger. 10spd auto is a rough shifting pile of shit and the platform itself is a wobblefest
>>29115020I could have just as easily mentioned a 1985 K series that still has its original door handles but I dont have one of those (anymore). My post wasnt about Ford vs Chevy and I apologize if thats the way it was construed. My point is that GM went to shit those years and made trash. I have a GMT400 Im 2nd owner. Its still under 100k miles. The drivetrain is solid but the truck is a piece of shit.>printed circuit boards in the taillights to save 3 seconds plugging it in on the assembly line.Buddy has a GMT800 (also falling apart)Couple friends have jellybeans and theyre rock solid all the way around. You only think the GMT800 is more prevalent than Fords because they had the same body style for all their trucks whereas Ford split off the 1/2 ton body to a seperate design. We had this debate already. Myself and a few other anons noted the trucks we saw in a typical day.It was about a 60/40 split (slightly more GM).But the GMs were rusted with peeling paint and more often had cracked windshields and dents. The Fords were running stock wheels and ride height with clean bodys.
>>29116178So the GM's are out working and the Fords are sitting on your lawn? Also post your town/city so I can do an actual count on the trucks on your roads.
>>29116389The GMTs are being driven by spics with no insurance and high school.kids.The Jellybeans are being driven by people who maintain their vehicles and keep them in proper order.
