The brake pedals are made of plastic and will snap if you press them.

Haven't plastic pedals been a thing for quite some time now?
>>
>>29114661
wow, brake pedals are supposed to be the blackbox of the car. they are overbuilt as fuck and are nearly indestructible.
also why did they have like 5 cameras on the brake pedal? this wasnt the first time it broke, eh.

Accelerator? Yes. Clutch? Not sure. Brake? Doubt.
Brake pedal needs to be designed so that virtually no human man can bend it with both legs.

ew, we used to be a society

There's a huge difference between a good pedal with re-enforcement, strong design, and making sure to use decent quality plastic, v.s. sharing the same parts bin with the powerwheels factory. China has always historically been known to sell lower quality grade materials/products as higher grade. Anyone trying to get real 304 grade steel out of China understands this pain. imo, Huawei is probably a victim of a supplier cheapening out in material cost.

they should have considered that in their design then

Huawei provide only the software of this Car, it has nothing to do with the hardware design/manufactures.

"Dong Che Di" (懂车帝) is a major Chinese car platform, essentially a combination of a car review site, a marketplace, and a community.
It is owned by ByteDance, the company behind TikTok, and is comparable to platforms like Car and Driver or Cars.com in the West

They tested 3 brand new cars of this model, and broke all 3 in the same way.
>>
I remember when I cracked the body of my corolla when I was bleeding the brakes as the spot welded mount for the brake booster cracked off the body.
I thought it was the most retarded design ever to have it spot welded in place

Only for throttle pedals as far as I'm aware.
>>
No smart people ever buy Chinese, only really. Really. Really. Dumb consumers even consider a Chinese product. It's common knowledge across the globe
>>
>>29114730
That's true. I only see arabs and company fags driving the chink cars. The latter because it's basically a free car for some years.
>>
OP kill yourself
>>
>>29114661
What a shitty design, why would anyone buy a Chinese car?
>>
>>29114778
Only if you send one of those hot chinese spies to do it.

Everyone loves to talk about how my old mazda has a "shitty interior", but you literally have to upgrade to an Aston Martin or Ferrari to get equivalent pedals these days.

Initial shipments will pass inspection, but later on when your guard is down, the bad suppliers OR embezzling employees might substitute something lower quality in order to pocket the difference into PRIVATE pockets without the corporation even knowing about it.

Hory shet look at how strong chinese construction workers are. Dudes must eat a dozen eggs for breakfast every day.
