I worked for an EV company and very large amount of them were for things like Uber or to businesses for certain reasons (such as it fitting their pro-environment business model). Private sales didn't make up a whole lot of the market and at this rate I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of EVs being sold now are the absolute cheapest models that are the EV equivalent to a Toyota Corolla (something like the BYD Seagull probably).
