>have the money to buy a new performance car
>they're all shit
>>
Cars are depreciating assets and therefore a waste of time.
>>
>>29116294
she cute
>>
>>29116294
So buy one or two used ones while they're still available for not-retarded prices.
>>
>>29116294
build a kit car. otherwise you don't actually care about performance

So you still can't afford a Porsche, huh?
>>
>>29116596
Also a good option. Cheetah Evolution with a Racecast Engineering LS V12, anyone?
>>
>>29116611
personally i'm more interested in Factory Five options honestly. though there's that Dowsetts Tipo 184 setup that seems really compelling.

both options would probably even be more high performance than i could handle lol. a stock coyote or MX5 engine respectively is probably plenty for me

>Cayman
yeah that is a woman's (male) car anon
>>
>>29116632
I think women more prefer a nice sporty executive sedan, perhaps one with diamond cut wheels. Isn't that right, Jorge?
>>
>>29116623
Factory Fives are nice, but come on. The Cheetah is a car around the size of a CRX, built with LS and T56/Magnum in mind, and positions the engine so far back that there is no driveshaft. Literally just a slip yoke connecting the transmission's output shaft to the independent differential.
>>
>>29116611
Cheetahs look like gay ass hotwheels toys. Just build a cobra.
>>
>>29116632
dua lipa is a butterface. amazing body, but with the face of a bad knockoff nagel woman painting from 1982.
>>
>>29116651
It's your birth name
And if you think that woman owns that car you are delusional
>>
>>29116638
>>29116640
it's true, something about their proportions just isn't *quite* right for my tastes.
>>
>>29116662
>not a Porsche
>her restoration skills
Lmao
>>
>buys solid older car
>spend only a quarter of the budget to restore
>it lasts another 20-30 years
>BBBBBBUT MY HECKIN NEWCARINRINO
just buy a good 90s ride and auto-win the rat race. Car repairs from that era are cheaper than any car payment or high finance loan (PLUS new slop repair costs are comical, just look at headlights for example)

You are depreciating assets and therefore a waste of time.

>>29116306
So is life you fucking moron kys
>>
>>29117664
Your suspension bushings bro?
>>
>>29117664
Good advice, just seven years out of date.

>>29117674

>buy 35 year old civic for 20k
>spend 15k in engine rebuild, rust repair and suspension work
>now you have a 35k civic with 200k miles
>>
>>29117768
>the civic is actually only 3000 dollars
>a brand new engine at worse is 4k for everything, mid suspension can be had for 1k (not coils you fag)
>don't buy rusty examples retard
>t. Not a civic but I bought a 94 deville for 1k and spent only 1k to restore. Been a working car for over 8 years now. No car payments, no debt, no car slavery.
>>29117674
It still applies lil bro. You just suck at negotiating or finding the steals quick enough.
>>29117669
You can use literally any other car of the era. That civic is just 1 of many examples of car that isn't evil
>>
>>29117672
>>29118045
Last reply was for this anon not the depreciation anon
>>
>>29118045
where are you getting a 91 civic for 3000 dollars?
>>
>>29116294
If you have the money for a modern sports car, you have the money to make an old car beat it's ass flat.
>>
>>29118255
Facebook marketplace, offerup, shit even Craigslist time to time from boomers that don't know its dead as fuck.

I consistently bag solid rides for under 10k. Running driving stopping not smashed or anything.

You just gotta have wits about you and good mechanical senses. A bit of bargaining goes a long ways too. Just stop being a sucka'
>>
>>29118421
you must suck at this because people are giving me brand new, low mileage cars for free because i'm just that good
>>
>>29118264
or you can make a kit car that will make both of them look like a little tykes scooter
>>
This is me wanting to buy an EV SUV but Christ they’re all hurt hideous.
