Finna buy a portable cd player with bluetooth capability just so i can play cds in my bluetooth only car. Why the fuck did they remove cd players from new cars?
>>29119575so I can CD's nuts in your mouth
>>29119575>portable cd playerJust get a single din Pioneer for the dash, nigga
>>29119936Nowhere to put it in the dash, nigga
>tfw BT, Aux, USB, and CD but only one speaker of of 6 worksI really need to fix the hackjob the prev owner did behind the head unit.OP just get an aftermarket head unit if your system is DIN or double-DIN.
>>29119939Theres gotta be a kit available my nig, I have a 2004 piece of shit with the combination cd player air conditioning controls, I had to get a metro kit with hvac and radio hole separate.
>>29119939What car anon? Check crutchfield for ways of putting it in, otherwise rip the cds to your phone and play them on BT audio, zoomer style.
>>29119575because CDs are gay and soulless
>>29119990I'm a 2000s nigga and it amazes me we would just put up with 700mb of rotating shit in our cars that may skip if the disc or player are fucked or the car is hitting jumps, not to mention the seek time of a rotating disc on my Pioneer BT audio I tap and it loads instantly, which is literslly the dream when you spent yoyr while childhood waiting around on rotating shut storage, its kinda foolish to go out of your way to use CD in a car which is still digital and gives you none of the benefits of a record player, you're just using old technology for no reason.
>>29120002>Doesn’t know that CD anti-skip was a thing long before he was born
>>29120005I dont think they had it in the 1993 sentra, anon... also the anti skip only had so much memory to buffer, if you roughhouse a cd player or the car is going off-road crazy, it might run of of buffer memory and start looping if the laser can't seek fast enough from being shaken.
>>29120018I use USB or AUX, less lossy than bluetooth and also play instanntly. CD players are fine, anything from this century will have more than adequate skip protection. If you are worried about the time it takes to switch tracks then you must have lived a very pampered and sheltered life.
Audio CD's are a dead media format. A new car with a CD player in it is like a new computer with a dial-up modem in it, or a new TV with an S-video jack. Not worth the cost expenditure for the manufacturer to include it given the super small percentage of consumers that might actually use it.Rip your CD's to MP3, load them on an old ipod or USB stick and plug it into the radio, or put them on your phone and use bluetooth.
>>29120047I download the mp3s straight from youtube if I can't torrent them, burn them to discs and put them in the cd book I keep in the console. My vehicle is from 2006 and can read the mp3 discs, so I can have all of metallica on one disc and all of primus on another, works pretty good. It's never skipped once in the 8 years I've had it.

>>29119575Having no cd player is a dealbreaker, just like ugly slow tablet touchscreen dashes and gay eps
>>29120127>business cdKek, BMtroubleU is so up their own ass, its almost endearing.
>>29120123>a bunch of CD's crammed full of MP3'sI also did that. However that was like 15 years ago.
>>29120127>business CDkek
grew up so poor we had to use one of these for our in-car music experiences as far as like 2014
>>29120178I used one of those until 2016
>>29119939ON THE DASH FAGGOT
>>29120002>get in>start car>turn on headunit>CD changer Just Works>start driving>10 miutes later>phone finally decides to connect to bluetoothEvery single time it happens I feel more and more justifiedGM Bluetooth is perhaps the worst I've ever used
Because only geriatrics and hipster millennials use CDs now
>>29119575>FinnaFucking faggot
>>29120354My Pioneer single din is essentially 2015 technology, but it always connects to my phone 3 seconds after turning on extremely reliably. With Tasker, I've set it up to resume the queue/playlists I was listening to when the phone last lost connectivity to the headunit. It's essentially like a mechanical tape headunit resuming playback.
>>29119939Sounds like an excuse, wrenchlet.
>>29120443>My Pioneer single din is essentially 2015 technology, but it always connects to my phone 3 seconds after turning on extremely reliablySame, I have one from 2018 and its still polished and good, they still sell single dins that function and minda look like mine becsuse it worked so well, thays why it amazes me people fuck around with chinkshit double wins, its like dude get pioneer double din or a single din if poor, or gtfo.
>>29120443You'd think a 2019 vehicle with android auto would be capable of that but nope!So it gets a headunit screwed to its dash.
