Ok, other than post-ironically blaming JEWS, let's theorize as to why interior vents are so fucked in 2026.
>new luxury cars needing to use the screen to move vents
>new nissans having zero horizontal vent control, only vertical (???)
>list more observstions kidd/o/s I don't really play with many new cars
Is this some ploy to turn vents into a subscription, or break them with a remote update? The damn things have been unchanged from the 1950's until mere moments ago, why are they suddenly adding motors into them? Why are they now removing what has been a standard feature of interior vents since their invention?

How do you guys know all about this new car stuff? I rarely ride in someone else's car. I just own a bunch of shitboxes.

Riding in normie cars. Every new car starts out fine at first, but upon closer inspection I inevitably find a detractor so absurd, even compared to cars just 5 years ago, that I can't help but laugh/cry.
Most egregious one was a family member's mercedes.
>A-pillar headliner is falling down, the dealer techs cram it back in by hadn't and its back out within a week.
>One of the plastic undertray pieces was dragging on the road and I unscrewed the last retaining bolt in a parking lot with my fingers and threw it in the trunk. The dealer can't be assed to put it back on either, it's been a year and at least two services.
>Infotainment will randomly fuck up for anywhere from 15 minutes to 24 hours.
It will be their last mercedes after 25 years of loyalty.

**Oh and yeah, the steering wheel on the merc is this horrible alcantera material that makes your fingernails black and looks disgusting after being impregnated with years of skin oils and lotions. Honestly it's the worst part of the car. What were they even thinking?

>What were they even thinking?
Steering wheels, radio/climate controls/ and center consoles are all high touch, high visibility, but low safety criticality parts of the car. So they ate intentionally engineered to give the ick after a few years of common use. That's why you see glossy plastics, soft touch materials, etc in these places. They look and feel fine at the dealership, but after 60k miles of regular use they give the ick.

There is no post-irony anymore anon. It's irony poisoned. Those ghouls genuinely hate.

The idea is it's more stylish to have modern minimalist interiors. Something that helps with this is hiding the vents. But then this makes them not able to be adjusted manually. Having a motor in the vents also means you can program them in with the seating profiles so they're always pointed exactly where you want them if someone else was driving the car

You dont get.
This isnt about new "features".
This isnt about "the highest trim level has automatic X"

This is aboit turning every aspect of a car into a computer controlled element until its nothing more than an automated transportation pod.
This is just an intermediate phase. Where manual control becomes electronic control in preparation of NPCs being completely corralled by the (((elite))) with FSD and Waymo tier vehicles being the only thing thats street legal.

The steering wheel and seats in my 16 year old 150k mile Civic genuinely look like new.
>>
>>29125256
it's not ironic. post nose.
>>
>>29125798
reject modernity.
embrace monke.
demand manual transmissions.
>>
>>29126832
they've even found ways to ruin manual transmissions, with rev hang for "muh emissions" and clutch delay valves for zoomers who can't drive stick.

>he can't into post irony
In a world of irony poisoning, being "ironic" means nothing. Nothing said under any context means a damn thing.
You say something, if the crowd likes it it's unironic, if the crowd doesn't like it it's ironic. And now the normie is catching onto this reality, that its all lipservice all the way down. Just say things, it doesn't matter anymore.

I semi-openly tell people that I'm pro torture and they don't give a fuck anymore lmao.
