How are they so insanely far ahead of the rest of the auto industry?
>>
>>29125533
Kill yourself shill.
>>
Ahead in terms of what?
Definitely not sales or design or luxury or power or racing or resale value or customer support or not spying on people or safety or actually delivering on promises the CEO makes.
Now that I think about it, what are they ahead in?
>>
>>29125535
>>29125534
communists mad LMAO
>>
>>29125538
I thought Tesla was fascist?
>>
>>29125535
They're ahead in design, tech, efficiency, luxury, sales, quality. Everyone who owns a Tesla can attest to how much better it is than any other car. Barely needs maintanence, and it's absurdly cheap run.

Also complaints about resale value are pointless. If it's so bad at holding resale, that means used models are stupidly cheap. Which means nobody should be complaining about their price.
>>
>>29125540
>design
Lol no, have you seen what a Cybertruck looks like?
>tech
Touch screens are ubiquitous, and almost every car has lane keep assist + adaptive cruise
>luxury
Lmao yeah "vegan" vinyl and minimalism, very luxurious
>sales
They sell like 1/10th what Toyota does
>quality
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>some more shit every other EV does

Cope
>>
>>29125538
I'm a Marxist-Leninist-Maoist and I drive a Corvette as a daily because Tesla only make expensive cuckmobiles that break down.
>>
>>29125541
>They sell like 1/10th what Toyota does
>>
>>29125545
Okay, now post the global sales for all models (you won't)
>>
>>29125547
>he cares about corpos instead of cars
Kek, cuck detected.
>>
>>29125552
Called it.

Anon, all snark aside, the other manufacturers have caught up with Tesla. They no longer have the edge they used to 10 years ago, that's why they now have to incorporate thruster tech from a space company to differentiate themselves.
>>
Telsa absolutely laid a lot of the groundwork for EVs.
Even if you look at charging infrastructure alone, Telsa contributed significantly.

For better (Or worse) they also set the bar for what standard features people expect in a vehicle these days, and how the driver is to interact with those features. Telsa was very strong in leading to cars rapidly becoming far more computerised.

But, they haven't really held that edge, and a lot of the "Big" manufactures have pulled ahead or equalled them. Telsa still does pretty good for price as their vehicles are all made in China and in the US they currently have a bit of a monopoly on selling Chinese-made cars, but in Europe Chinese EVs are destroying them.
>>
>>29125554
Name a car comparable to the Tesla Model 3.
>>
>>29125560
BMW i3
Volvo ES90
Porsche Taycan
Hyundai Ioniq 5
Mercedes also has some but they're fuck ugly so I won't mention them
>>
>>29125565
None of them have a personal ai driver. You lost tranny
>>
>>29125566
Well they haven't lobbied the US government to let their level 2 driving aids qualify as "self driving" yet, but that's another story. The other manufacturers can only get away with sentry mode, unfortunately.
>>
>>29125565
I'll look up each car and respond why each one is inferior, but I guarantee all of them will either be missing a ton of shit, or will be wildly more expensive. Always happens when someone tries to say "there's now something as good as Tesla"

Oh I'm sure it's just a coincidence new slop dropped just in time
>>
>>29125533
The chinese already have better car than this, just you wait Chud!
>>
>>29125533
When I see Teslas I think of poorfags pretending to not be poor... with government EV subsidies and Tesla discounts like trade-in bonuses or 0% finance that are almost always going on (gee I wonder why), Model 3s are some of the cheapest sedans on the market and Model Ys are some of the cheapest SUVs on the market. People accept their obvious drawbacks because of those economics. I guess now that they come from China or Germany the build quality is not as awful as it used to be. But they're still not particularly good cars. But I can see how they make economic sense for poorfags.
>>
>>29125533
Because when car companies are thinking making a profit with cars.
Tesla is thinking about solutions to whatever problem is thrown at them, getting paid or profitibility is an afterthought.
That said, I still prefer gas for now, despite the roadster making an extremely convincing case for itself at 50k.
>>
>>29125533
Poor management, atrophy, etc.

I work in a 'boomer' tech company; not auto but I think the lesson applies.
My mgmt has been 'steering the ship' for decades. No leadership no understanding, just get paid & dont rock the boat.
Theres a lot of reasons, what I believe is root is broken reward structure. No rewards for exception work, punishment for failures; so people play it safe.
I assume auto industry has similarities, especially with govt bailouts. creating negative incentives. Mgmt doesnt care if the company succeeds or not. They care about spreadsheets, bonuses, severance packages, etc.
They get paid to slowly destroy their own companies. Its been going on for decades.

I dont know specifics so I cant say, but I know the people. Auto CEO's are not innovators. In their blood they are greedy fucks who make everything worse. Somehow someway it was always going to end like this with this group at the helm. The only cure is to replace them which for whatever reason isnt allowed.
>>
>>29125554
Maybe in China but not NA
>>
>>29125565
All of these have worse tech
>>
>>29125533
they aren’t the Nissan Z is a century ahead of Tesla.
>>
>>29125533
BMW has way better range for a similar price
Lexus has the best interiors (sadly)
Nissan has the best EV affordability and it's not even fucking close

Tesla has the best buying experience but honestly that doesn't go very far when you can only buy gay low quality Kias
>>
>>29125535
They're the best at crashing into police cars

What is this FUD? The European car industry is kicking on all cylinders. Everyone is facing lower sales in China.
>>
>>29125748
Türkiye, India, Saudi Arabia and Korea are the future.
>>
>>29125533
started in sillicon valley that's why. I'm being serious, if you don't get what that means, you never will.
>>
Tesla won
>>
>>29125533
Because they are the only ones trying
>>
They did something new and unique and everyone tries to copy them but are miserable at it
The Tesla infotainment, while it gets criticism for being a tablet, is implemented very well for what it is
Others simply copy the tablet dash, and it's always laggy and weird menus, and doesn't look good. It's like others are trying to be minimalist but not all the way like tesla

Comparable? Superior. Model 3 is a temu toy in comparison.

Here's a secret.
They are not. In fact, they are lagging behind nowadays.

omg its a heckin car you dont even drive!!! epic bacon sauce
>>
>>29125533
Only a faggot would ask that
>>
>>29125533
This statement was true in 2013-2020, but not after that.
The only thing Tesla is currently ahead in is retardation and dumb gimmicks.
>>29125540
>design
Mogged by basically everyone, teslas still look stuck in early 2010s/late 2000s
>tech, efficiency
Mogged by any Chinese manufacturer
>luxury
This has to be bait, Tesla cars are some of the most Spartan cars in existence
>sales
Already surpassed by half a dozen Chinese companies and this year most likely even by fucking VW lmao
>quality
Once again, this has to be bait
0/6 holy kek better luck next time

Do you even like cars? lol Busses also have personal ai drivers
>>
>>29125738
>electronic doors that burn you alive inside
my model 3 has manual latches
>failing temu wishbones
not a thing
>electric motors constantly failing
definitely not a thing, the motors inside a tesla last basically forever since they're entirely enclosed
>insurance prices through the roof
my insurance is almost 40% cheaper because i have a tesla
>all Teslas look the same eggshell cuckpods
yes, if there are only 2 models, most teslas out there will look the same.
>Tesla subscription for basic features
full self driving and youtube premium are not 'basic features'
>constantly under survelliance by Musk
fine, or you can just install that little camera flip
>rust issues in barely five year old Model 3s
aluminium does not rust...
>no physical buttons, just touchscreen faggotry
this is a good thing, it feels great having such a lean and spacious interior because theres no buttons, and i came from a mercedes ml-230, which is absolutely full of button faggotry
>no gear lever
because theres no gears... and the car automatically goes into reverse when you want it to
>not even a driver’s speed display
there is..
>FSD killing more people than drunk drivers
false
>forced One Pedal Drive
this is a good thing, and evs that let you roll are literally retarded and missing the point of how electric motors work
>ghost brakes out the ass
not a thing
>CEO is ket addicted megalomaniac not even interested in cars anymore
probably
>almost new Teslas fail basic car inspections in Europe
also incorrect
>infamously bright LED headlights blinding other drivers
also incorrect, the led lights in tesla point downwards when the sensor detects bright light or the camera sees a car. the bright led headlights you see are retards installing third party led lights incorrectly
>>
>>29129512
>no buttons is a good thing.
Yeah you're definitely smooth brained.
>>
Even if that was true, it's not a high bar.
>>
Literally the only problem with Tesla is taking 20 minutes to charge, and there might be a line on top of that.
>>
>>29126330
This is true. In this thread, there are retards saying stuff like Tesla is "spartan". It isn't.
>>
>>29126443
tesla isn't named after a stripper
