I just replaced plugs and coils last year is my concern. I'm pretty sure it's either fuel injector or timing belt, I doubt it's a breached cylinder (I hope lol)

damn that sucks man honestly probably would get it towed unless you live close to a auto shop. Maybe just drive it really slow and easy if you can’t get it towed. Honestly if you can afford it look at the Nissan Z or maybe something other than VW but i get it money is tight so just do what you can. An electric bike might not be a bad idea if you live close to work.
