Ford and Chevy are going to come out with the 4 door mustang/camaro in 2029, which will of course be rwd manual sedans. The fact is that the infiniti will have less power, less cylinders, worse reputation, and cost more money. I doubt it will sell well

I hope they bring back the coupe and the top version also gets some R35 hand-me-downs, like the ATESSA AWD for example, so that it's between R34 and R35 in performance, with a manual option. Then, if they ever make an R36, they should make it super high tech with hybrid and stuff and have it compete with the NSX and GR GT.

These are some of the better pictures of the supposed look. Also their is talks about a "skyline edition" for the q50 model, but if the old q50 is anything to go by I expect that both cars will look identical and dealers will charge an extra 500 to get rebadging and a USB stick to change infotainment to say "skyline"

The reason why it seems like they have no heritage is because Ghosn reign of nissan was to move the skyline into more of an upmarket option while making the GTR the ultra-sports car. Japanese fans of the skyline notably have issues with the 00's generations of the skyline saying it is more Infiniti than skyline
