I found 2019 1.6 multijet Fiat Tipo for under 6000euros. Should I go for it /sp/? Did any of you have some experience with the car?
avoid>why?shit reliability, there's a reason it's cheap
>>29127615im in europe, so ill probably only drive it for less than 10 miles a day since i have a village property i need to visit daily, with the occasional, montly hour long drive to another city?is even that too much for that engine
>>29127618yeah it's pretty fucking terriblejust get something on a golf chassis with a 2L diesel, it'll break down less than the piece of shit fiat and when it does break parts will be way cheaper
>>29127619so just go for the choice most of my countrymen go for?all the social media "experts" are calling Golfs shitboxes only people stuck in the past driveI guess I should just ignore them
I have the wagon, same spec etc as pic. They attract idiots so take it to fiat places if you can.No problems idiots didn't create.
>>29127624>so just go for the choice most of my countrymen go for?yeah>all the social media "experts" are calling Golfs shitboxes only people stuck in the past driveif those social media experts are telling you to buy a fucking fiat then they are retarded niggers and not experts, Stellantisslop has only gotten worse with time
>>29127614My dad has a 1.4 petrol. He bought it new. He's done around 100k km. So far the only issues he had are that stabilizer bars go bad rather quickly. I don't know if that engine is reliable but I'd get it as his 1.4 is really slow. If it had a turbocharger it would be better. Overall he's pretty happy with it
>>29127624>all the social media "experts" are calling Golfs shitboxes only people stuck in the past driveThe reason they can say that is because it thrived in the past, thrives in the present, and will survive long into the future. If you're europoor and can't fork over more than 6000 eurobucks, you can't afford a car that'll bankrupt you.
>>29127614I have an 2018 wagon 1.6mjet 2 and have shy of 180k kms. The issues I had were 2 sets of glowplugs, apparently they are used a lot for regen purposes, (I snapped one and the tip fell on the cilinder so I had to take it to a shop to have the whole head removed). O2 sensor, leaking water pump. One window elevator and a battery. The rest was just maintenance. The only gripe I have with it is the placement of the filter behind the right front wheel. This being said I so live in the south of europe, no rust/electrical gremlins to report. Parts tend to be cheap as wrllThe interior is kinda cheap with a lot of plastic if you can overlook that it's a solid car
>>29128716i can to pay more, it's just that my family never owned a car, so i don't have much driving experience, hence i'd prefer to drive a cheaper used car that i won't care if it gets scratched or dented too much, instead of buying a new corolla for 20k euros
>>29127629Tipo is pre Stellantis iirc. They get you a wtf here because Fiat only makes the 500.
>>29127614My girlfriend drives 2018 Tipo - the car is slow and boring but other than that, it just works - not a single major failure for over 100k km, cheap to maintain, cheap to repair, new enough to support android auto without an aftermarket chink ipad.
>>29127614Only good if you live in Turkey (they are produced in turkey so literally infinite spare parts). Otherwise you're better off getting a golf or polo around the same price range. Tipos are decent commuters if you regularly maintain them but you might find the interior quality poor.
