Who the fuck decided that it was a good idea to have your acceleration in the handle of your steering wheel in a vehicle that requires you to lean side to side to turn in?
>>
>>29128352
I don't see the issue. Is this one of those dyspaxic things.
>>
>>29128352
Your better idea is?
>>
>>29128360
When you're turning, especially in very tight turns, you subconsciously lean your body against the handlebar, and tighten your grip, engaging the throttle harder.

>>29128370
Make it more in-line with cars and bicycles.
>accelerate on right foot
>brake left foot
>gear controls in handle
>another brake in handle I guess.

Where the fuck else you gonna put it? I have a hard enough time finding space for brakes and shifting.
>>
>>29128384
You sound like you have no idea how to ride a motorcycle. Please seek professional instruction before continuing.
>>
>>29128352
honestly you would think it would be a problem but it isnt. also being blown off the seat, something i personally though what would happen pre bike days
>>
>>29128384
>When you're turning, especially in very tight turns, you subconsciously lean your body against the handlebar, and tighten your grip, engaging the throttle harder.
I've been riding since like 1992 and this doesnt happen.
>>
>>29128408
Time for bed grandpa
>>
>>29128352
Someone who's better at it than you. Git gud squid.
>>
>>29128384
>accelerate on right foot
>brake left foot
Oh, you mean the spots where you stand when you're leaning and the G-force increases? Yeah, nah.
>>
>>29128352
unironically on my bike i had two of these things and managed it fine. git gud.
>>
>>29128352
OP should stick to /n/, and bicycles.
>>
>>29128352
It beats a thumb throttle
>>
>>29128412
I've been riding since 1988 and it's not an issue

git gud, scrub.
>>
>>29128352
Have you ever ridden a motorcycle? This is a non issue. You push or pull on the bars whilst your wrist remains static to turn the bike. the movement of your wrist is what modulates the throttle. To avert risk of inadvertently whisky throttling your bike when you hit large bumps you are supposed to grip the tank with your legs and only ever have a light grasp on the bars.
>>
The more I read /o/ the more i realize that most drivers are completely retarded and even the "enthusiasts" are somehow even more retarded
>>
>>29128614
Enjoy your donorcycle, slowfag
>>
>>29128352
You're not supposed to hold onto the bars, treat them like horse reins. Squeeze the tank with your thighs to hold on and push yourself on the footpegs to lean off the bike.
>>
>>29128608
>that elbow to ground gap
>>
>>29128352
Idk but I’d like to tongue kiss that guy.
>>
>>29128352
You wouldn't want it on your feet, see on a bike you ride it, you're not sitting and driving it, riding is a more involved activity. There's moments you need to stand on the foot pegs, sometimes pushing it to lean into a corner. It's in its own way handlebars for the feet but requires more active movement which makes throttle placement a real ergonomic issue.
>>29128370
It goes against convention but learn left-hand-push-pull instead of push-right-go-right and actively switch between modes, keeping the right hand loose and free for fine throttle and brake control, controlling the bike mostly with the left
>>
LIVE : REACTION
>>
>>29128611
When you push or pull on the handlebar you invariably change your wrist position in relation to them.
>>
>>29128733
So no you haven't.
>>
>>29128676
Speaking of horses, you maintain your balance on a horse using the stirrups as much as gripping with your thighs, that makes feet forward cruisers the most horse like kind of bike
>>
>>29128735
I am speaking from experience nigger.

>inb4 git gud

Design your shit better.
>>
>>29128352
Youll probably shit your pants when I tell you that the right hand has a twist throttle AND the front brake.
And sometimes you have to use both AT THE SAME TIME while feathering the clutch with the left hand IN A TURN!!
>>
>>29128747
I bet you've experienced niggers
>>
>>29128747
Riding your friends chink quad once isnt "experience".
You're just some uncoordinated pussy that would fall off a ladder while fixing a ceiling fan.
>>
>>29128741
Also because they're slow, outdated and ridden by Larpers.
>>
>>29128741
Lol.
You've never ridden a dirtbike.
>>
>>29128733
I've only ever ridden a fucking scooter and even I know you're bullshitting.
>>
>>29128384
As someone that still sucks shit at shifting and braking when standing up in rough stuff, this would make my life even harder.
>>
>t. whiskey throttler
>>
>>29128608
>FB_IMG
>>
I have those throttle grips, vans odin or whatever they're called. Absolute garbage

This thread sorts the poser pussies vs the real 2 wheeled enthusiasts.

If you ride and comment objectively stupid shit like >>29128733 then you just need to shut the fuck up and listen more because aint no way somebody is this retarded about something they actually "know"/experience.

If you can't control a throttle like holding an icecream cone then you shouldn't be on a bike or any machinery in fact (because you gotta be legally retarded to not be able to do this simple technique)
>>
This is a fair to good quality shitpost, OP. I can respect the hustle.
>>
>>29128781
I don't know what you're getting up to but I've never had to gas+clutch+brake+turn on a bike before
>>
>>29129284
On a burm if you get heavy on the front brake you shift the weight to get the front tire to dig in then fan the clutch to break the rear tire free and slide your ass end around.
>>
>>29129366
>*berm
>>
>>29129284
Facts. Just downshift before you set up your corner.
>>
>>29129379
You are slower than people who don't understand this.
>>
>>29129164
>ice cream cone grip

psyop.
>>
>>29128352
Never in my 12 years of riding have i ever not felt like i was in complete control of the throttle while leaning into a turn.
>>
>>29129366
I'm not a supercross rider so that would explain it
>>
>>29128384
>and tighten your grip, engaging the throttle harder
That's not how the throttle works. If this is happening to you, you lack coordination.

>>29128741
...have you ridden a horse? Have you even seen a picture of someone riding a horse?

>>29128747
Oh god it's retarded

>>29129157
Ok, I like em. What do you use?

>>29128614
There is indeed some strong retardation at play. Likely due to more shitskins on the web than in years past. We didn't know how good we had it.
