They look like the darker, edgier versions of other VAG vehicles.The one in the OP looks like that Porsche cuckover and I have seen Cupras that look like Urus drive around

Cupra is this but with edgy design. Their take on Passat/Superb could make nice hearse if they every make one.

Huge part of why VW closes German factories is because Slovaks, Hungarians or Spaniards will do exactly same job as German workers for half of price. This European quality is also better than Mexican or US-ish. Even premium American brands are level below Dacia in terms of build quality (e.g. unlike Cadillac I never seen Dacia with crookedly mounted doors).There are imported American cars in Europe (there's workshop that specializes in Mustangs just next street to my house), but people import them for they huge, obnoxious, loud engines (not kosher enough for EU) and not general quality.

I've owned a VR6 Passat made here in Tennessee and have a current gen GLI, made in Mexico and both have had pretty fucking great build quality. Both have been reliable too. Way better than Hyundai slop I used to own. I wish they sold the Skoda Superb here. Hell even if they just rebadged it as a Passat.

They're both made in same factory in Slovakia (current gen Superb isn't made in Czechia anymore). Passat had some rocky start (e.g. shitty suspension) but now it's a matter of taste and if you want sedan. They both cost the same in the same specs but still Skoda cultists claim Superb is a better value - which seems like a cope.
