How can we have cheap cars again? I bet we could have new cars under 5K.Nix the EPANix CAFENix The Auto Workers UnionsGet rid of emissions equipment on USDM carsAllow manufacturers to sell cars with carburetors and get rid of computers, REAL poverty spec. Bring back high sulfur Diesel Ban EVs since diesel is redirected to feed EV charging stations.
cars have never been 5k when new
My parents bought a 2002 Corolla new for 11k. That's not even close to 5k. Get a job, poorfag
>>29140372>diesel is redirected to feed EV charging stations.you are so goddamn stupid
the only way you're getting a new car for under 5 grand even with gutting all the costly laws is if you consider a tuk-tuk a car, and even then you'd still be pushing it price-wise
>>29140372>carburetorsNever ever would happen. This would filter 98% of firsties completely.
>>29140372You will never have cheap cars again. >Safety/Regulations make it so that manufacturers HAVE to have all this bullshit in them which drives up cost>If manufacturer A sells their car for less than manufacturer B it lowers brand perception and makes them seem "cheap". Theyd rather let their cars rot on lots than sell them at a discount or for less. >New world order/Jewish agenda doesn't want you owning a new car so you won't.>You will own nothing and you will be happy.
>>29140433cuck
>>29140433yeah dude the 9000 screens, 7.1 surround sound, power doors, drive-by-wire, and normies willingness to take out 45% APR loans didn't make cars expensive, it's the catalytic converter
>>29140372We have cheap cars. your dumbass just ignored them.
>>29140374maybe in 1921
>>29140443>yeah dude the 9000 screens, 7.1 surround sound, power doors, drive-by-wireI promise you 3000 years ago, that none of that is driving a 30,000 dollar car to 50 grand. They buy this shit in BULK. The 9000 screens probably cost them a few hundred bucks per car. The 7.1 sound system is probably another few hundred bucks. Sure they jack the price of the car up by 3 grand for some bs infotainment upgrade but it's not sending car prices through the roof. Especially when you can just opt out a lot of it.>and normies willingness to take out 45% APR loans didn't make cars expensive,This I'll agree with. Retards overspending is a problem. >it's the catalytic converterIt's the fuel filters, crash safety changes, emissions regulations and testing, it's the collision avoidance systems, blind spot detection systems, backup cameras, auto adjusting headlights, evap recirc systems for emissions, charcoal filters etc.that shit drives the fuck out of pricing because instead of a gimmicky feature that can be updated later via a software update, now you're getting into regulations. and any time regulations are involved, that comes with liability. Any time there's liability, there's lawyers, which comes with mountains of paperwork that engineers and lawyers getting paid 200k/year have to spend all their time on.
>>29140590counterpoint: shipping (larger AND heavier car so whether its by container or by weight it's more, many things are charged by both)also imho it really is just normies having greater access to debt. you see it all over. the companies can charge more, so they simply do.>muh emisshunscars get worse mileage than they did before fucking CAFE came in and CAFE is basically dead and worthless because of "light utility vehicle" loopholes and simple non-enforcement on domestic brands. the technologies you need to get approval to sell that model are already mature and are just as off the shelf as the infotainment slop and power doorsthe high cost of cars, and of everything else, is 100% protestants jacking up prices in cahoots with eachother and normies being too big of goycattle to simply say "no i will not buy this at this price"
>>29140372Jeets are so fucking stupid
