It was actually pretty neatly done and not obvious until you actually inspected it as it was just badges and no decals. I don't think swapping badges itself is gay, but what you replace those badges with can make it gay depending on the context. If you want to know what I mean look up custom VW badges as that has been a part of the custom VW scene for a long time. Some of them are kinda kitsch stuff with the old hippy peace logo, but there are some cooler historical emblem swaps or modern versions of the rabbit injection logo which work.But then you have pic rel.When you go from swapping badges for something fun or a neat reference to something else, and instead swap it for something gaudy or going out of its way to look fancy or highend, that's when it becomes kinda gay. Go on etsy and look for custom badge services and you will find a ton of custom acrylic badge makers that do stuff for trucks or muscle cars, with it being some of the edgiest things imaginable like hood/youtube title fonts with shit like grim reapers or growling animals as the logo.
