Nah mans its natural. Connects you to earth.
>>
>>2864166
every example of ancient people we have all had them wearing shoes
otiz the iceman had them, the oldest know texts had everyone wearing shoes, the tombs in egypt had shoes and there are many archeological finds of shoes dating back several thousand years
there also arent any reasons why you would want to wear shoes, especially in modern times

Pussy.
>>
>>2864166
I like walking around barefoot. I think its good for you in a way that doesnt have to do with grounding or getting in touch with the Earth or whatever.
>>
>>2864197
how? so everyone that wears shoes is a pussy?

Walking barefoot is natural and can be done, but it's just not worth the risk of injury.
>>
>>2864207
Yes. Rome conquered the Mediterranean and Europe in sandals. Let’s say fire making hominids have been around for what half a million? A million years? During a vast majority of that time our species and its’ forebears went barefoot. If you want to protect against >>2864212
get some moccasins or something.
>>
Barefoot for the better part of a decade.
>>
>>2864215
>Moccasins are not shoes
>>
>>2864216
Too real
I sometimes get foot fungus in the fold of my little toe (and only there).
>>
>>2864217
Moccasins aren’t shoes they’re a good covering. Are socks shoes now too?
>>
>>2864219
>A moccasin (/ˈmɒkəsJn/ MOCK-ə-sin) is a shoe, made of deerskin or other soft leather,[1]
Yes I know they have soft soles compared to most shoes. So did medieval european turnshoes btw. They're still shoes.
>>
>>2864218
It’s taken 9 years for my pinky toes to even slightly unbend. Pretty wide between the rest of the toes but I spent 30 years wearing shoes and a decade plus in football cleats stopping and pivoting on my toes. When I was a kid I had the dexterity to pick shit up with my toes but not now.
I stopped wearing shoes and I stopped getting ingrown toenails. Weird.
I wouldn’t wish that pain on anyone even >>2864217
>>
>>2864220
Gotcha socks are shoes too. So is cardboard duct taped to a homeless man’s foot.
Changed my mind I hope you get ingrown toenails.
>>
>>2864222
>You call a shoes a shoe so I hope you suffer (mildly)
Uhuh.
>>
>>2864223
Shoes have souls you have none. What makes you like this? Is it the giant axe wound?
>>
>>2864225
>And also you are a tranny
Do go on anon, this is amusing.
>>
>>2864216
This is a real struggle, I didn't wear shoes as a kid and now it's impossible to find shoes that fit properly and don't look retarded. Even when I find something pretty normal like keen hiking boots that have a squarer toe box they still look comically big because my feet are size 13 and I only weigh 160 lmao.
>>
I used to barefoot a lot in the UK, but here in Finland there is hiekotus (tiny salty rocks) EVERYWHERE. It's impossible. You'd return home septic.
>>
>>2864166
I knew a degenerate hippy Boeing nepo baby called barefoot Alex. White guy with beer belly and dreads and tooany crystals, you know the look

He genuinely did not put any form of footwear on after like 2015ish? I met him around 2018-2019 and that dudes feet were so dark you thought he was wearing shoes. Not from dirt but just from the tan, and the caluses. I watched him full sprint across a gravel parking lot once, like kicking up gravel with his toe nails. No fucking reaction. He genuinely did not give a shit. He could walk on a broken beer bottle and it would crack under his feet and not cut him. But to be fair, he said it took two years just to get to that point. After two years, your feet are indestructible. This dude hitchhiked on the highway barefoot, black top in the summer barefoot, in the snow in the winter barefoot

You can do it, but you kind of have to be a degenerate dreads having hippy to pull it off socially, and you have to go through actually two years of hell first

The barefoot movement is retarded. The human foot is adapted to the African Savannah, flat warm ground with very little debris and obstacles. Bipedal animals only develop in environments like this. All humans living in other environments have developed and used footwear without exception.
>>
>>2864166
Walking barefoot is the absolute best thing you can do for yourself.
Doesn't mean barefoot for every second of your life, but a few many hours inside your home and yard, heaven.
Outside on a foot trail if you are pretty sure you won't step on thorns or rusty nails or splinters is good.
Your foot bones will heal and you will get stronger.
I gave up wearing heels or thick plastic soles on shoes like running or hiking or boots.
Just wear minimal soles or barefoot because my Achilles got fucked up from years of wearing regular fat people shoes.
>>
>>2864166
being barefoot is not /out/. it's for nepo pseudo-hippies and people who never leave their house.

it's all risk with zero benefit
>>
>>2864205
>I think its good for you in a way that doesnt have to do with grounding or getting in touch with the Earth or whatever.
Yes, and food is good for you even not in a nutrition or vitamin/mineral way because I'm not "that guy".

Duckfeet are my choice. Pricey but worth it. I find them to be shoes that will take care of you. They will even do your laundry for you. Just give em a little wax once in a while.
>>
>>2864166
The (1) single time I walked barefoot (sandy area, not a beach thoughever) I immediately stepped on a broken glass bottle of beer some faggot must've threw on the ground and cut a deep gash into my foot.
Never again.

My coworker used to run outside barefoot all the time as a kid. Then one day he stepped on "something" and was in tremendous pain.

They couldn't find anything, but he came down with a horrible infection so they rushed him to the ER to treat it, and when he recovered they assumed it was over.

But the object was actually still there. 27 years later it migrated to the top of his foot and he got some answers. Turns out he stepped on a piece of word ~1in long and ~2/10in wide (picrel). It shot up in between his middle toes, moved laterally, and ended up flat and deep, making it it hard to detect. His body had partially encased it and there was even still little chips of paint on it. They think it was a piece of a fence.

Anyway. Don't go barefoot outside if you can help it.
>>
lemme get you in on a secret
you can wear barefoot shoes to feel barefoot, but yet be safe from glass bits.
>>
>>2864188
Except there is a difference between ancient shoes and modern shoes, as modern shoes are made from rubber (Insulator) and not designed with the natural shape and function of the feet in mind. Most people had shoes, but they also went barefoot more often then not.

>>2864215
Absolutely this. The Sandals the Romans wore are what made them such an effective mobile force. Natural Footwear is crucial.

>>2864452
Out of Africa theory is still a theory. Snow, Ice, and climbing based strategies also create bipedal humans. Natural societies not only worse healthier footwear, but they went barefoot wherever they could.
Even modern orthopedic doctors will admit that going barefoot is great for physical rehab.

>>2864480
It's only a risk if you're a fucking retard who doesn't pay attention to where he steps.
I hiked mos the CT barefoot and in thin sandals, literally everyone else had issues with their feet except me.
You have pussy feet, your feet are pink, pale, and wet, just like a pussy.
My feet have muscles and abs, get fucked.
>>
>>2865193
Retarded braggart
>>
>>2865141
And you can also go barefoot when there isn't glass around.
Poor city fags living in the industrial hellscape will never understand this. Your feet will be weak and you will be a cripple by the time you're 80 years old.
>>
>>2865194
I'm bragging based in fact. American Indians were able to travel long distances via moccasins and moving with the terrain.
Roman Legions moved over 20 miles a day using sandals while wearing 30+ pounds on their back.
And I can outhike most people who wear shoes, I don't get blisters, my feet don't get athletes foot, my feet are strong, and avoid injuries way more then people who wear shoes.
Modern shoes are fucking evil, made of rubber, and are designed to fuck us over, and I am living proof of it as somebody who has gone barefoot since I was a child.
Continue to argue against things that you don't understand and don't have the courage or the intelligence to try, we will see how fucking terrible your gait is in 50 years.
>>
>>2865193
>It's only a risk if you're a fucking retard who doesn't pay attention to where he steps.
lol, this is akin to someone saying that seatbelts aren't needed if you drive really safely

you're a big dummy but i still like you
>>
>>2865201
Exactly, seatbelts are honestly pussy devices for people who are so retarded they get into car crashes, like black people.
Once you learn to move and dance with the earth, you enter a flow state, gliding between rocks and safe steps with the wind at your back, and suddenly a path emerges, and you are guides upon the lighter path of truth.
Shoe fags will never know such a state of divinity.

>What do you mean you don't filter your water on the trail? That's not safe!
>Where is your medical kit? What if you get injured?
>Why would you even go hiking in the first place, don't you know what's out there?
>You don't wear sunscreen? Aren't you afraid of skin cancer?
>Meat and eggs are bad for you, don't you know anything about cholesterol?
Not all Hookworms will latch onto you anon, you're just being racist towards hookworms, and I don't have to listen to a bigoted piece of shit like you.
>>
There is ZERO risk from being barefoot if you don't run or jump, running or jumping is retard shit if you're not wearing any kind of protection, you could step on glass or get splinters
>Callouses dude!
I work with dry splintery wood and I wouldn't touch it without gloves unless I'm being slow and deliberate, walking barefoot is fine just don't do meme shit like sprinting and jumping barefoot. Some random guy could break a beer bottle 20 years ago and cut your foot open.

It depends on the terrain. Typically if I'm out hiking and walking over a large boulder area, it's actually a lot safer to go barefoot by just hopping from rock to rock.
I make a little game out of it like dancing with the terrain, typically while whistling the lord of the rings theme song or something related. My feet have a lot of traction on the large rocks, and I don't leave foot prints so I can't be tracked.
It's always fun to effortlessly glide past all the day hikers and completely foot mog them.

Cold Temperatures are only a concern for non-whites. Ancient Whites could do everything Whim Hoff could do if not better.
Practicing Tummo in addition to going barefoot, I walked barefoot in the snow on high altitudes, granted it wasn't for an extended period of time because I'm a rookie, it's actually really dope and your feet warm up really fast after you get off the snow.
>>
>>2864215
>dude stop wearing shoes, wear these specific kinds of shoes instead
K, nah

I am a shoe wearer normally for work, but I spent a month shoeless and my experience was pretty interesting. The first few days I spent in the yard conditioning my feet to rocks and twigs. The discomfort was strong and I felt a lot of mental fatigue in trying to carefully place my feet all the time. I could not take my eyes off the few feet in front of me.
Then I did a few long hikes in the rainforest. The softer earth was a delight, mushy leaves and mud were slippery on treadless feet but I learned to use my feet ergonomically with the earth to balance, a level of connection I have never had with the environment. I freely admit this was an emotional and spiritual experience, and even though it was a gentle walk, the adrenaline of focusing on my footwork on the land, the overloading sensual stimulation of my feet on the earth and also the novelty of being miles out with no shoes on was an intensely exhausting experience and I slept like a content baby that night.
Something changed in my brain after, some neural pathway that had been long atrophied by constantly wearing shoes and numbing the walking experience. I would liken it to those vids of kids hearing for the first time, or eating something delicious for the first time and that look on their faces when their brains light up. I recommend it to all, walk barefoot!
>>
>>2864166
Right
>>
>>2865879
and if you walk long enough in snow your toes get a beautiful black color
>>
>>2866095
You know you can do cool things like walking barefoot in the snow and also not be a fucking retard, it's this cool technique humans have called Physical Awareness, and maybe if you tried to get to know your body a little better you would understand what I'm talking about.
>Dips his toes in snow once
>Fucking dies.
>>
>>2864222
Moccasins definitely are shoes, but your argument is actually starting to convince me that socks are as well
>>
>>2866186
Wife got me some nip socks for wearing with flip flops. They take some getting used to but they’re ‘aight.

>>2864167
