You have to get your reflexes honed first. Practice tossing the machete as high in the air as you can and then grabbing the handle when it comes back down. As your skills develop, try spinning the machete faster and faster as you toss it up in the air. When you're good enough to catch it with your weak hand as your back is turned and you are blindfolded, you will be a true machete master.

Also start killing lots people and defenseless animals with your machete.

try to focus on swinging it straight rather than swinging it hard, a lot of energy is wasted on swings that are half slap and half slash.
