How is the alice backpack im comparison to whats out today? Its affordable here in europe for around 80€ and I got into the whole outdoor topic with the game DayZ where its very prominent.
So I thought I might aswell and military stuff is good? Guess it might be a bit heavy?

Compared to a modern pack, ALICE is short and wide and carries the load too far from your body. The frame only has a kidney pad, not a supportive waist belt, and the torso length is about right for a 5'3" manlet.

sick thats great to hear

Imagine wrapping around super sized panties around it.

Do recommend. Make yourself a MALICE pack.
Use a medium Alice on a Mollie frame with the pouches and extra bits.

I’ve had this for ~25 years and put probably 10,000-12,000 miles on it?

I think you flipped around your numerator and denominator anon
>>

Just for arguments sake, 2000 miles is less than a trip cross country and back and easily doable in a summer.
I assume you’re also an American based on your math skills but you might be European (based on your lack of knowledge of distance and said math skills).
Do better anon.
>in Soviet Russia math adds you!

12k miles driving it around in your car? shit is unused

they're garbage, op. anyone who tells you they arent garbage has never actually used one. i carried one for a couple years when i was a teenager and they were dirt cheap and they absolutely suck. these days you can get a fine pack from walmart or ali express for the same price that will carry much better.

I absolutely have and you’re an utter retard.
>walmart or ali express
You’re so brown and poor it hurts.

Its ok but not great. Yes its durable and more useful for activities where you need carry a lot, but the consumer pack market has way outpaced it the past decades. you can get way more comfy and functional packs with way less health issues at good prices. If you want to do it for a video game larp then larp away but there are better options for non-larping. Also military stuff isnt inherently good, it is gear built for the mission, not for the person.
