How common is being asshole among high altitude climbers?
>>2873297it's probably common. i think when you're about to go up something like that, your mindset changes, because you're probably in a big fucking hurry. i have had several incidents where i have not communicated my intentions correctly, and i have gone to the top ahead of other people, or used the wrong routes to get there and caused a lot of confusion. i also think that when you're exerting yourself, you can get kind of high on endorphins, and it becomes very easy to assume that other people know what you're talking about, or what your intentions are.

It’s impossible to make an informed judgment of whatever he did without knowing the details. The mountains can be brutal and unforgiving. Unless you’ve experienced its brutality and tip-toed the thin margins, you really have no idea.
