Now that most hills are open for the season, what are your downhill MTB plans for the summer?
>>2873716I've been meaning to make it out to one of the hills in the Midwest like Boyne Highlands (MI) or Chestnut (IL) soon.
>>2873716Currently waiting for my new rear wheel, there will be hitting the parks again.
>>2873716Not almost killing myself and ending up in a cast for 3 months.
>>2873716Until july 2019 I had no idea ski resorts opened during the summer and carried your bike up the up on the lifts. I bought a bike on sale and hit the lifts in mid August but they closed mid September. I rode a lot the next summer of 2020 and had a great time and almost broke my neck going down a really steep section. I am "old" so I need to take it easy on the steeper runs. I still ride when I have time, and really enjoy kilion brons vids about Mega avalanche rides.
hit sugarloaf ME opening dayrainy as fuck so half the mountain was closed but I enjoyed the tech I got to doneed to go back another weekend to hit the rest, but also need to burn the free loon mtb day the pass gave me and not sure when ill get a chance
I prefer trail riding to downhill
