He's been at it for so long, but hasnt really gotten anywhere. He built like 6 different mud huts. Half of them fell down. He's made some bellows and roof tiles I guess. But he keeps stalling and going backwards, instead of advancing and making Primitive metal tools/systems to eventually evolve to premodern systems and tools.

I used to watch every video of hisbthat came out like 10 years ago. Not anymore. He's stagnated. don't know why he keeps going back to making roof tiles, other clay things and kilns and huts and shit. It's like he doesn't want to leave his comfort zone anymore.

until he has enough metal, he can't make a blade, and until he has enough tiles & bricks, he can't make a house
theres also no fucking point in making a steam engine, it would be infinitesimally worthless to a waterwheel

See that's the problem. He's not going to find enough wild metals on his own land. My original point is he keeps making stuff we've already seen many times before and that makes for boring content. That's been the main focus of his videos for the past like 3 or more years. He's eventually going to have to go out and find raw materials elsewhere. But he's not. He's sitting in his nest, and just toiling away without much advancement.
He doesn't need to do anything to crazy, hell he could even make a video of him going to a different area and either gathering wild material, or just explain that he had to bring outside help in.

He can't stay isolated like his is and make videos the way he is without it going stale.

I agree the fan blower and the water wheel was a disappointment I wish he would try thicker oven walls longer preheat and more coal, and hopefully get a decent blade out of it not just cast iron.
