How is your experience with night hiking, anons? There's a big forest reserve in the middle of town and I want to lose track of time and walk around in it at night. It might be the difference of only a few people I'd otherwise meet but I want the peace of knowing I'm alone. There are some coyotes apparently but no bears or montain lions probably. I bought a bear horn and a stick just to be careful. Anyway I feel like I could walk forever in this sort of environment and I'd get a lot of exercise
You are never alone, anon.

You won't see shit you might get lost or hurt yourself. If you really want to go in the woods at night find a good spot and stay there (camping)
