Extreme exploration vehicles. You see those guys spending 1000s of hours building an off road vehicle with mud tyres and a 4x4 gearbox, you see the atv's etc, but when you think about the physics of it, wheels are not designed to be going through mud, up hills, over large rocks etc. Legged vehicles are going to be the future and autonomous horse robots to ride through the wilderness are already being built.https://youtube.com/shorts/J6eVQ8C7aBM?VZb4o8huG6j-Nl0e
>>2874904the real question is, how upset will the low function autists here get over an obvious chinesim vaporware advertisement?
>>2874904But we already have legs, fatass
Honestly how did our media basically completely miss riding on legged robots? This is absolutely going to be a thing and sci fi should have seen this coming.
>>2874931Because all these new technologies need battery life, either nuclear, hydrogen or some kind of rotating electromagnetic battery that recharges batteries constantly. Then if they tech to make legged vehicles they mayaswel go straight to personal flying vehicles basically a motorbike helicopter and bypass the legged vehicles but there will ne a return to nature through technology in the next 25 years
>>2874931They didnt Its already been done From 1994https://gundam.fandom.com/wiki/Fuunsaiki
>>2874904Wheels are superior in mud though.
>>2874956Wheels create bog holes and mud in the first place, a walking vehicle would go around the mud not through it causing more ruts
>>2874904The great thing about the wilderness act is all such nonsense is prebanned
>>2874982No one lives in the US anymore, theres a whole world out here
>>2874904I wish my butt muscles went halfway up my back, I bet I could jump really high
>>2874985Buttlet
>>2874979Youre an idiot.Wheels spread the load out over a wider area, causing less damage to the terrain.
>>2875069Your both idiots. Wheels destroy everything in their way.
>>2874904We already have these, they’re called mules
